Canine Compass - Dog Behaviour & Training Navigating life with dogs Head trainer and owner, Alyssa, specialises in solving dog behavioural issues and dog obedience.

Canine Compass offers a variety of services including private consultations, group classes for puppies and adult dogs, training walks, boarding, board & train and workshops. She has been involved with dogs in a variety of ways all her life and completed her National Dog Trainers Federation qualification in 2011. Working with all breeds and mixes thereof, Alyssa is passionate about helping people understand their dog and teaching them how dogs learn, how to read their (and other peoples) dog/s and how to create the dog they always wanted. With Bono and Penny at her side Alyssa works a lot with clients dogs teaching them appropriate actions and behaviour. Alyssa is passionate about animal welfare. She has been involved with rescue for many years and loves being able to help dogs learn how to be a good canine citizen.

Although Dave (Irish Terrier) and Rowan (Wire Fox Terrier) are different breeds, the Terrier runs deeeeeep in those veins.

Rowan went home the other day, and Dave today.

I was going to say that the dust might settle now, but that will have to wait until Füzz and Bëni go home 😆

The face of a guy who just did pretty darn great assisting me in a consult.

We are very rusty in our work together. I need to focus on another tricks comp to force socks being pulled up.

In the meantime, however, I will marvel at this lil guy and how far he has come. Long gone are the days of hating people and dogs.

He has taught me so much. And continues to be my teacher.

A boho mood kind of visit Woof Gang Bakery - Dog Treats with Nancy

Outside of her delicious and nutritious doggie goodies that you find at all of the markets, Kaz has her place set up as a dog adventure park. Plus ‘cellar door’ sales for her goodies. So good!

Louis has visited Basecamp, had a wonderful time, gone home, visited again, and gone home again… all without me posting anything about it 😅

During that time, Louis and Waffles have formed a lovely friendship.

Louis is a guy who is selective of his friends. He appreciates calm, steady friends, who allow him to realise they can be trusted. Waffles is most definitely that kind of gal.

It has been a joy being part of them find their dance of friendship together 🥰
