The essence of the sport of Rally Obedience is the lively and purposeful performance of a timed course, connecting a series of obedience exercises that exhibit a variety of training skills and demonstrates the interaction between handler and dog in a fun, yet competitive environment. The varied maneuvers through the course and the connectivity of the exercises takes dog obedience training to a new level, which keeps the relationship interesting for handlers and dogs alike. Handlers may reward their dogs during the performance, reinforcing the positive spirit sought through Rally Obedience. WCRL is an affiliate of United States Dog Agility Association, Inc. (USDAA), the world's largest independent authority for the sport of dog agility.
