Poor Enid, yesterday was her first day transitioning to every-other-day prednisone. I can tell she is uncomfortable and she has developed a low grade fever. Which is unfortunately normal for Pemphigus Foliaceus, when not fully controlled. We've been slowly weaning her off over the past few weeks since starting cyclosporin, which unfortunately takes 4-6 weeks to kick in. As of Friday, we’ve hit the four-week mark, and I’m feeling anxious about these next couple of weeks. Really hoping it starts helping her. Please send all the positive vibes her way. At least she has her friends to help her along the way. The snuggle support crew is in full effect.
