Found wandering by school on 94th Ave- north of McDowell Rd in West Phoenix.
Female. Well fed and loved. No collar, no tags, no microchip.
Seems blind.
Fur on backend seems to be recently cut / missing in chunks ( like long-term regrowth from a previous injury)

In a small Indiana city, parking fines were transformed into an act of kindness.

Muncie police partnered with the local animal shelter to give residents a choice: settle outstanding parking tickets not with money, but with donations of cat food, kitten formula, and litter. The shelter was struggling to keep up with the needs of more than 350 cats, and supplies were running low.

The response went far beyond expectations. Drivers showed up with bags of food stacked in their arms, boxes of litter in their trunks, and hearts fully on board. Some people didn’t even have tickets to clear — they came anyway, simply because animals needed help.

What could have been a routine enforcement program turned into a powerful moment of community care. One creative decision turned frustration into generosity, and punishment into relief for hundreds of shelter cats.

Sometimes, the best solutions aren’t about collecting money — they’re about giving people a chance to do good.

She's super friendly, energetic and just beautiful!

She was born at the rescue 14 months ago, and the last to go of the litter of 6.
Even her mom's been adopted.

She has gone into foster-to-adopt homes several times ….. but those homes have had older dogs that get tired much sooner than Panda

RIGHT NOW: Coyote mating season (next 4-6 weeks). Males are territorial, aggressive, and hunting small pets.

What happens: Silent. Fast. Your pet is gone before you hear anything.

What to do TODAY:
→ NEVER let pets out alone (day or night)
→ Leash walks only (even in your yard)
→ Scan yard before opening door
→ Motion lights + air horn by door

Your dog trusts you to protect them. They can't protect themselves from a 40-pound predator.

Go outside WITH them. Every. Single. Time.

An early SAVE THE DATE for our upcoming Pups & Kisses adoption event on February 7th from 3-7 pm! Player One Arcade in Surprise has agreed to host us in front of the arcade with adoptable dogs, a Scooter kissing booth, and a free game of pinball for those who come visit us. Our organization is entirely volunteer-run. Our volunteers take time away from their jobs, families, personal pets, and personal lives to review applications, complete veterinary, reference checks, and communicate with applicants.

Each application can take several days to process.

When an applicant is approved but is not serious or unable to follow through, it is extremely heartbreaking and results in a misuse of our volunteers’ unpaid time and effort.

We are not a shelter that receives any government funding

Thank you for understanding and for respecting our volunteers and, most importantly, our dogs. 🐾 who we believe deserve to be someone’s first choice 🥹

💜💜💜 Raisen 💜💜💜

My Christmas 🎄 wish came true 💗

Raisin has been waiting months and months and months to find his perfect furever home. We thought he had found it several times before, but each time it didn’t work out for him, through no fault of his own. 😢

Today Raisen was adopted !!! 💗

He now has fur sibling who has been very lonely the last year and a half, since her bestie passed away.

His new parents found it so heartwarming that their resident dog was finally happy with another dog. They had met several other dogs recently, considering adopting them. None of them seem to be the best fit for their family and their dog.

….. until they met Raisen yesterday. Their resident dog was so happy when she met Raisen yesterday.

They committed yesterday to his forever, family, and they officially picked him up today.
