Draco arrived today, and his foster was so excited to love him — but she’s having a severe allergic reaction and is absolutely heartbroken that she can’t keep him.

Now this 4-year-old, 83lb, heartworm-positive boy suddenly has nowhere to go.

HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS🥹 47 DOGS TODAY😭

The feeling is surreal, today makes RR history by blowing our previous transport record of 27 dogs, out of the water!!!!

47 dog are out of the shelter and in foster homes for the holidays, including a momma and her 8 puppies🙏🏼

We could go on and on about how much this means to us but at the end of the day there’s not enough words to express the feeling of this morning.

We are so incredibly grateful to have an amazing board, an amazing team, AMAZING fosters and an amazing shelter partner West Point Clay County Animal Shelter.

History was made today and lives were changed 🙏🏼🩵

🚨 BUTTERS IS THE LAST ONE LEFT. 🚨

His entire little friend group — every single dog he played with, leaned on, and found comfort in — has been pulled.
All except him.
Butters is now the last one standing, and leaving him behind is absolutely breaking us.

Transport leaves MS in UNDER 3 HOURS and we are begging for one spot… one “yes”… one ride to get this boy out of there and reunited with safety instead of sitting alone in an empty run.

He’s ready. He’s cleared. He just needs someone to open their door.

Our November 30th transport from Mississippi is officially our largest yet — and it’s ready to roll north! We have several shelter workers driving TWO vans through the snow to get these pups to safety and into loving homes. ❄️🚐🐶

Let’s make their long, cold trip worth it. We still need foster homes ready to welcome dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Every open home means one less dog sleeping in a crowded shelter.

Meet Bosch — one of our longest-waiting pups who’s trying so damn hard to be brave in a world that still feels a little big and scary.

At just 8 months old, this 56-lb brindle baby has spent most of his young life in rescue. And instead of growing up in a forever home, he’s been stuck waiting… first in Tennessee, now here. His foster takes him to Farm & Fleet to help him build confidence, and every visit he gets a little braver, a little softer, a little more “I can do this.”

Bosch is house trained, crate trained, gentle, playful, and easygoing — the kind of dog who blossoms once he feels safe. He may be shy at first, but once you earn his trust, that one-ear-up, one-ear-down sweetheart becomes all wiggle butts and quiet loyalty.

He just needs someone patient enough to see past the nerves and notice the incredible dog underneath.

Update!!! FOSTER FOUND FOR shepherd mama and pups!

🐾 SPECIAL FOSTER ALERT — A Shepherd Mama + 8 Puppies Need ONE Foster Home! 🐾

Animal control in Mississippi discovered a brave shepherd mama and her 8 tiny puppies (5 girls, 3 boys) huddled together in an abandoned house. They’ve survived the hardest part — now they just need a safe place to land. 💛

✨ Mama and babies must stay together for now, so we’re looking for ONE amazing foster who can welcome the whole little family. The pups are about 5 weeks old and all under 3 lbs.

✨ Bonus: Whoever steps up gets to name the mama and all 8 puppies!

They’re hoping to arrive NOVEMBER 30, and we’d love to say YES to saving them — but we can only do that if we have a foster commitment.

🐶 AND… we are still trying to secure fosters for as many dogs as possible. Available dogs listed…
