2024 was a very busy year for the MAF free spay/neuter/vaccination voucher program. The Fund sent over 1/2 a million dollars to help get services to local animals in need across the Commonwealth!

Who was helped? 636 homeless cats and dogs in municipal animal control shelters, were spayed/neutered/vaccinated so that they could find homes. 1,343 cats and dogs in low-income local families were spayed/neutered/vaccinated so that they could obtain basic care and stay with their families.

In 2025, the need is still great (we already have over 700 animals waiting for care), so we really need your help! The Mass Animal Fund program is primarily funding by voluntary donations on Line 33f of the Massachusetts State Income Tax Form. When you file your MA taxes, please visit Line 33f where you can help us get care to our local animals!

Tax season is almost here! Consider visiting Line 33F when filing your MA income tax form, so that we can continue to help animals.
We have already begun to see a significant number of emergency cases in 2025. On January 6th, a 4 year old English Bulldog named Nova needed emergency reproductive veterinary care. Using Line33F tax donations, we were able to help provide the funding for her life-saving surgery.
With your help, we can continue to offer aid to MA animals!

Tax season will be opening up soon, so we just wanted to send a friendly reminder to visit Line 33f when you file your MA Income Tax Form!

In 2024, the need for assistance was huge, so we sent out over 1/2 million in aid to municipalities. Through your help, we were able to help so many, but we aren't done.

We currently have hundreds of local animals already waiting on our waitlist for spay/neuter help in 2025. Your donation when you file, can help us get to them as soon as possible!

This tax season help get assistance to a MASS of animals by donating on Line 33F, and helping us spread the word about the donation option to others!

Woola is normally a very energetic and happy dog, but on Christmas Eve, she was not acting like herself. After a trip to the veterinary emergency room, it was discovered that Woola had developed a life-threatening infection, and would need a costly emergency spay surgery. Woola's owner reached out to the MSPCA, who then reached out to us.
The Mass Animal Fund was able to provide emergency funding for Woola's surgery. We are happy to report that the surgery was a success, and Woola is back at home recovering!

Thank you to the veterinary staff at the MSPCA in Boston for providing the care that Woola needed.
And a special thank you to all of our Line33f donors. Success stories like these would not be possible without your continued support. We are incredibly grateful, and looking forward to helping more Massachusetts animals in 2025.
