Hey Everybody, i will be accepting a very limited number of commissions on April 1st! I have gotten tons of email and message inquiries lately and i try my best to respond to everyone when i can. I try very hard to manage this business in a honest and transparent, God glorifying way, offering the best service i possibly can. I am not a big company, i am 1 person, i do everything, from answering the phone and emails, all the way to taping on the shipping labels, every commission is something i take seriously. I only accept limited amounts of work because of the quality i strive for and i want to maintain a reasonable turnaround time, and stay as close to targeted completions as possible.

4/1/25 will be first come first served, i will go through emails and send invoices and when the available slots are filled i will stop incoming work again, to maintain what i believe to be the most reasonable turn around time that i can.

I am incredibly humbled that people enjoy my artwork enough for me to do this for a living. My mission is to bring glory to God through every aspect of this business. i appreciate every client and opportunity i get. Thanks again, God Bless.

Gloss/No gloss? This topic comes up quite regularly in my posts. I often hear that people think the fish look better with no gloss. Here is my perspective. Right or wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️, but as the artist this is where i stand on the topic.

I think that mounts with no gloss on them photograph much better than fish with gloss on them. Due to lighting/glare. Which is why they tend to look better when posted that way. In person, i think glossed fish look much better then the un glossed satin finished fish. Naturally fish are wet, and have a slime coat. I have never caught a fish that came out of the water with a satin finish. I think the gloss coats add amazing depth, and realism to the mounts. So from my perceptive, gloss or no gloss? Im going gloss every time. 😃Bless yall! -Andy

As we wrap up 2024, lets take a trip down memory lane of some of my favorite pieces i got to make! 2024 was a wild year. Life Update:

We are home! We were able to move back in Christmas eve 🙌🏼. I want to thank everyone that loved us during this challenging season. So many people came along side us and picked us up these past 2 months. All of our needs were met the whole time, places to stay, financial needs, tangible needs. The way the Church, and individual people have been generous to us has been incredibly humbling. From my self, and my entire family we are so grateful. We can see the grace and love of God over this whole situation, and we will be changed in many good ways moving forward.

The wake of all of this and the time off of work is going to have a lingering effect. As we continue to put our lives back together, i will be working hard to continue getting orders finished and shipped. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support during all of this. If anyone is wanting an updated time frame of completion on their mount, please reach out to me!

Going through this process has been hard. Going through it without the peace of God walking through every step with us would be so much harder. We have a God who loves us, understands suffering, and wants to give us His peace, that surpasses understanding.

I am officially back to work today! After being out of the shop for the past month due to illness, and working on our house and making steps towards getting our home fixed so we can move back in. If all goes as planned we may be able to move back into our home before the new year. 🙏🏼 Im excited to get back to work today, and just asking for grace from all of my in process clients as this un expected event has dramatically affected my family, my work, and will set me back about 1-2 months on turnaround times. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out, everything regarding fish mounts will be as expected, just a little behind schedule.

I have been trying not to make a big deal of this, but at this point, the reality is it has become a big deal. Last week we discovered water damage to our home, and mold, which we believe is what has made me sick for the past 6 months, and began making my family sick. The point we are at now is a gutted house and a mold remediation team coming in to manually remove the mold. Due to the state of my health, We have to remove all of our belongings from the house to be cleaned and dispose of furtniture,beds, ect. Homeowners insurance doesnt cover mold remediation, so we are having figure this one out. We are so grateful for the way the church and people who love us have come around my family to help us get through this. In the midst of all of this God is at work and being glorified. Alot of people have asked how they can help. Its going to take a while to restore the home and our life, but we have amazing friends who have put us up in their home, freinds who are helping us with needs to restore the home, right now small things like resources for my wife and kids to eat meals are a blessing. My freind tyler set up a gofundme, if you have a desire to help/bless us, it truly is just that at this time, i will post the link below. Thank you all and please bare with me regarding turnaround times on fish mounts, as an individual artist, im doing the best i can to continue working during all of this, and i am encouraged at the reality of my body healing once we are on the other side of this.
