Many thanks to Alexa for alerting mom and me this morning that today is National Eat Ice Cream For Breakfast Day. True, I’d already eaten breakfast BUT I was happy to eat a little more breakfast, especially when it was doggie ice cream!! Did any of you eat ice cream for breakfast, too??🐶

I know… you don’t have to say it… I’m ADORABLE! Sharing this photo that mom took of me and Lambie this morning because heck, it’s just too cute and I know my loyal fans have probably been hoping to hear from me.
Christmas is coming and I thought this would be a great photo to make into a Card but mom says she’s already bought enough for this year. I’ll bet they aren’t as cute as this picture. Can’t you just see a card saying “Dreaming that all your Christmas wishes come true”? Oh well, maybe next year.
I’m off for a walk with dad. It’s snowy, windy and cold but that doesn’t bother me. Dad didn’t look too excited but…

Hi, all- sorry to disappoint my fans but the humane society did not pick me as one of the candidates for mayor. Oh well… I will just keep on making my friends happy by posting here on my page.💕🐾

It's official! After several days of deliberation and talking about the pros and cons with my pawrents, we have decided that I should throw my collar into the ring and run for Mayor of Middlebury!! It's an honorary position of course although I'm sure I'll have lots of ideas that I'll be willing to share with the Town Manager and the Selectboard about how to make Middlebury a better place to live for both humans and animals if they want my thoughts... and who doesn't? Today was the last day to submit and mom just pushed the "send" button to Homeward Bound. This is a Homeward Bound fundraiser and every vote will cost $5. Online voting will be June 2nd through June 13th and there is no limit to the number of votes you can cast. At the end of the voting process, the dog with the most votes (and of course I hope that will be ME!) wins. I am excited to put my name and face out there to represent the town I love in this important way. Mom said she would be my campaign manager which was okay with me since she has run for elected office several times as a schoolboard rep. and knows a little more about this stuff than me and dad. Anyway, I'll keep you posted and I hope you will vote for me (many times) once it begins on June 2nd and I hope you will share this post with your friends and encourage them to vote for me, too. Unlike human elections, although I have to be a resident of Middlebury, YOU DON'T! Spread the word throughout the land...
