We have had more intakes, just behind on posting. We got this sweet fellow in about a week ago. He has a horrible wound on the side of this head. He is having water therapy, bandage changes and meds.

Then we have 4, they were a little itty bitty hissy committee, they have since calmed down. They had to trapped since they were living under a dumpster and could have been squished at any time: we are still trying to capture mom.

Then we have our single creamsicle nugget that was found as a stray.

They have all been vaccinated and wormed.

We would like to share with you this adorable basket for our 4th of July basket raffle !

All proceeds from our raffles go towards our bill at Wheelersburg Animal Hospital, so if you would even like to call and make your payment for the raffle direct to the vet just let us know and we will get you marked for the raffle.

This will be a “spin the wheel” and end June 25, 8pm

Spots (tickets) are $5 each or 5 for $20.

💔UPDATE ON KITTEN WITH THE ONE EYE NEEDING REMOVED WITH MAGGOT EGGS ON HER FACE
🌈It is with heavy hearts that we have been told that this sweet little one did not make it. Her body succumbed to the neglect she had suffered in the short time she was on this earth. Run free of pain little one.
Say a prayer for the other two.

Where to start ??

Today we had two kittens sent to Wheelersburg Animal Hospital for terrible eye conditions.
One sent 6-5 for femur break

One kitten is absolutely covered in maggot eggs , and one eye will have to be removed . SURGERY SET FOR 6-10

Our second kitten, sadly the eyes are beyond saving and both will have to be removed. SURGERY WILL BE IN A FEW WEEKS AS KITTEN NOT EVEN 1 lb YET

Then, last Friday we took in Figaro , his leg is completely broken in half. REQUIRING LEG AMPUTATION- SET FOR A COUPLE WEEKS SO CAN GAIN SOME WEIGHT FOR THE ANESTHESIA

Please. we are pleading for help for these three. this is going to be very very costly.
probably around $3000 all three

plus we have Bo’s follow ir up pound of Heartworm treatment coming up and that will be $300 and we still owe the $300 for the first treatment.

Tomorrow we will be going to United Pet Fund where we are blessed to be able to get dog/ cat food and supplies that are needed in bulk. Tomorrow we will be getting a pallet of dog food dry, a partial pallet of canned dog food and a few cases of canned cat food. they don’t have any dry cat this run so we will need to purchase that online or ask for donations but we will make a separate post for that.

These trips usually run about $300 depending on what else we are able to pick up in supplies, as we never know what is available.

We would appreciate anyone that would like to donate to our food and supply run tomorrow. we have quite a few animals in our care right now and it takes a lot to keep their tummies happy. we couldn’t do this without all of you ❤️
