☀️ Tips for your furry animals in the heat🌡

Although usually enjoyable for ourselves it can sometimes become very dangerous for our furry friends as they are unable to regulate their temperatures like we do🐾

Below are a few ways you and your furry friends can enjoy the sun and minimise the risk of heat stroke

🐾Only walk dogs early in the morning or late at night when temperatures have fallen🐶
🐾Ensure they are moved out of any direct sunlight ☀️ seek shade wherever possible ⛱️
🐾Give access to water at all times 💦
🐾Using cooling products such as mats/bandanas/ jackets 💦
🐾Ensure they are in a well ventilated space with windows open🪟 or use a fan

Some common signs of heat stroke include:
panting, drooling, seizures, very red or pale gums, collapsing, vomiting and diarrhoea. If you do notice any of these symptoms seek veterinary attention immediately ☎️

Always best to air on the side of caution ⚠️
