When horses are enjoying their life, with them then we can build a wonderful relationship. From this, we aim to produce horses that enjoy their work, trust people and want to give their best - rideability, honesty and worth ethic. We have a small band of hand picked broodmares from which we produce a very small number of dressage and show jumping horses and ponies. We don't focus on commerciality
or fashion. We spend months researching our chosen stallions every year and raise each horse with love and care. As I am an equine vet as well as lover of horses, all of our animals receive excellent care and nutrition from before they are even born. Where possible, we keep all youngstock until at least 3yo so that we can ensure they get the best start in life and we ask very little of our youngstock in terms of sport. All horses live in small groups, outside 24/7 where possible. All horses are regularly handled and undergo in hand training and light backing and schooling but they are never pushed for sales, young horse classes or excessive loose jumping. All horses travel and are exposed to many different experiences, not least the everyday activities of a small but busy farm with children and a range of other animals that they also live with!
