Rainy day goofball!

Ok, we always though Gordon would be "my" (Todd's) horse. Turns out Virginia is the one who can ride him best! (Partly because I don't know how to ride a horse). I might just ride Milo......the kickstart draft horse.

It has been some time since last post. His overall health and appearance is much improved, don't ya think??

We went out for some very light riding. Gordon is still trying to find better health. Nice day for everyone!
The movie is now on Netflix. Do yourself a favor and watch the story of one of the greatest horse rescues!
The story of immigrant Harry deLeyer and the plow horse he rescued from slaughter.

Maybe this is the slightly better picture-Virginia can't hide her smile under the brim of that helmet.

Virginia jumped on Gordon the other day to see what he thought of having a rider. As usual he was very polite. Turns out he prefers neck reining as any good quarter horse would. His health remains good. Going out with other horses within the week!
