Maeve's first boots, and she is taking it like a champ! Won't be long before we try on some costumes... well maybe when it cools down a bit more.

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family, Maeve, or as we call Miss Maeve. We found Maeve last Saturday at an animal shelter a couple of hours away from us. They say she was found shortly after the 4th of July, so she probably left home with the fireworks. This lovely lady is approximately 7 years old and has some skin and weight issues and has had puppies in the past, but we just couldn't leave this sweetheart at the shelter. She is the sweetest thing and could be an ambassador for the Dobermans showing how much of lovers they are. She has already proven to be safe with our cats and horses despite not knowing even the basic obedience. We can't believe no one came to claim the sweetheart, but she'll never have to worry about that again with us.

I'm sorry to have to post this. We lost Penny Bark-Bark this evening. She was 14 1/2 years old. Although we didn't say anything, we also lost Titan last Nov. We hope to carry on their legacy soon.
Penny, you will always be the original Stormtrooper Dog, bringing joy to our home and your fans. Love you Red.

I know we have been pretty quiet and on top of that this year we just couldn't get anything done in time for Halloween.. but we did finally finish something! Here's Titan as Master Chief (Halo). Titan is still working on his Cosplay skills so we went with an easy to wear soft costume. Don't worry Penny is still around, she is just passing the torch on to Titan, although she was very jealous since she wasn't in the photos.
The body and helmet was made from a boy's Master Chief costume, with a lot of modifications. Once Titan gets a little better we might go back and update the body armor.
