Pseudopregnancy in Goat (Hydrometra / Cloudburst)
Pseudopregnancy is a condition in which a doe appears pregnant, but there is no fetus present. Instead, the uterus fills with sterile fluid. It is commonly called “cloudburst” because large amounts of fluid may suddenly discharge from the v***a.

Causes
Common causes include:
Persistence of the corpus luteum (CL) leading to prolonged progesterone secretion
Hormonal imbalance
Early embryonic death with retained CL
Breeding during non-optimal reproductive periods
Sometimes associated with repeated hormonal synchronization programs
