Today we had another wonderful visit to the Autastic Club with my rescue animals 🐢🐇🐍

The kids absolutely loved meeting them, learning their stories, and finding out how to care for them. It’s always so special watching their curiosity and confidence grow as they handle and feed the animals. 🥰

Thank you to the Autastic Club for having us again, we can’t wait for the next visit! 🌟

What a gorgeous baby🥰❤️🐍

Just over a year ago, I sadly lost access to my original page. It was a page I had put so much time and effort into, and I had built it up to over 2,000 followers. Despite trying everything, I wasn’t able to recover it🙁

Starting from scratch has been tough. Going from a busy, established page to a new one with just over 100 followers has definitely been a challenge. But I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has found and followed this new page. Your support means so much.

If you can spare a moment to share this post, I would really appreciate it. Every share helps more people find the page, support the events I do, and most importantly, support the animals in my care🐾

Thank you for being here and for standing by me❤️

Meet Casey- the snake who changed everything for me🐍

When Casey first came into my care, she was in a terrible state- fragile, frightened, and fighting for her life. Numerous vet visits, force feeding, and sedation were all part of her painful journey. It was hard to imagine she’d ever recover. But with every day, I saw her strength grow. Through patience, love, and dedicated care over four long years, Casey slowly transformed. Today, she’s healthy, vibrant, and thriving.

Casey’s journey touched my heart deeply and opened my eyes to a truth many overlook❤️ She’s more than just a snake; she’s a living being with feelings, needs, and a will to survive. Her story became my mission. That mission is Amy’s Animal Adventures- a space where I share stories like Casey’s to raise awareness, break down fears, and inspire compassion for all creatures.

Events like this are my way of reaching out, hoping to connect with you. I want to help people understand that animals, no matter how different or misunderstood, are living beings who deserve kindness, respect, and care. By sharing Casey’s story, I hope to spark empathy and encourage others to see animals through a lens of love, not fear❤️

Well, that’s another East Kilbride Farm Show over and done with until next year! 🌾🐾

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to meet and support my amazing rescue animals. Every kind word, smile and moment of connection means the world, not just to me but to the animals who have been given a second chance at life. 💛

I do this out of pure love, for the animals in my care and for the many others still waiting for help. Events like this don’t just raise awareness, they allow me to reach more animals in need and continue this journey of compassion and care. 🐐🐑🐓

A very special thank you to Kirsty, Stevie, John and Mikey. Your help today was absolutely invaluable and I truly couldn’t have done it without you!

Here’s to another amazing day of making memories, sharing love and changing lives, one rescue at a time. 💫

🌾🎪 Join Us at the East Kilbride Farm Show! 🐰🦎🐍🕷️

We’re so excited to be part of the East Kilbride Farm Show once again, happening on the last Saturday of July at the beautiful West Nerston House – and we’re bringing some very special guests with us… our amazing exotic animals! 🐾

Whether you’re a lifelong animal lover or just a little curious, this is your chance to meet, greet, and learn about some incredible creatures from around the world – all in a safe, friendly, and fun environment. Perfect for kids, families, and even the brave grown-ups!

✨ Here’s who you might meet:
🐰 Adorable rabbits who love a gentle cuddle
🐍 Slithery snakes (don’t worry – they’re super friendly!)
🦎 Fascinating lizards that look like mini dinosaurs
🕷️ Hairy tarantulas for the daring
🐸And maybe even a few surprise guests!

Our friendly team will be there all day to answer questions, share fun facts, and help everyone feel comfortable – whether you’re petting a rabbit or facing your fear of spiders!

💛 Please note: Our animals’ health and happiness always come first. While we try to give everyone the chance to meet their favourites, the animals do need regular breaks throughout the day to rest and relax. So if you miss one or two, we kindly ask for your understanding – we promise they’ll appreciate your kindness! 🐾

🐾 Meet Huey, Dewey, and Louie – Our New Sugar Gliders! 🐾

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest (and fluffiest!) members of our animal family – Huey, Dewey, and Louie! 🐿️💙 We recently travelled down to England to adopt this cheeky trio, and we’re happy to say they’ve slotted right into their new home.

Sugar gliders are small, nocturnal marsupials known for their big eyes, curious personalities, and the ability to glide through the air. These boys are full of energy and already keeping us entertained with their playful antics!

✨ Caring for Sugar Gliders ✨
Sugar gliders require very specific care to ensure their health and happiness:
• They are highly social animals, so keeping them as a bonded group is essential.
• Their diet includes a carefully balanced mix of fresh fruits, vegetables, protein, and supplements.
• They’re most active at night, so we provide them with a quiet, enriched environment during the day and lots of climbing and gliding space when they’re awake.
• Trust and bonding take time, so we’re currently letting them settle in and get used to us gently.

🐾 While they’re not quite ready for direct handling just yet, you’ll still have a chance to see them in person at the East Kilbride Farm Show on the last Saturday of this month! They’ll be attending as part of our educational display (from a safe, stress-free distance), and we’ll be there to answer any questions you have about sugar gliders and their care.

📅 Mark your calendar and come meet the boys – we can’t wait to share their story with you!

What You’ll Gain:
🌟 Valuable hands-on experience with animals

I’ve really been slacking with keeping this page up and running, since loosing my last page I’ve really lost the motivation! 😞

However I’ve still been here behind the scenes caring for the animals and working events!❤️

We met with the 4th East Kilbride Boys' Brigade on Friday and we had great fun!❤️

Hoping to keep this page updated going forward as I feel you have all missed out in a lot that’s been going on!🥰

Talk about home comforts!❤️🐰
