🚨WE NEED FOSTER HOMES NOW!🚨

FOSTER HOMES ARE THE BACKBONE OF RESCUE. Without them, it is challenging and ultimately not possible to bring cats like this emaciated and malnourished, thinning and missing fur, p**p matted, dental issues w/ possible broken jaw cat off the street who is seen in our photo.

While we are still struggling with how wide we can open our doors back up due to funding, we simply can't ignore the serious medical needs that are so obvious with some of these cats living on the street. So our begging and pleading for fosters and funds, continues for the sake of cats like this little one. We know you are also compassionate towards their struggles just as we are. This is also why we know that you'll step up and help in any way you can and for that we are deeply grateful.

WE NEED OUR FOSTER PARENTS TO:

✓have a spare room
✓room to fit a 48" crate or two if you can foster more than one cat
✓be able to transport to/from our vet clinic in the Beaches area
✓provide food and litter
✓communicate updates regularly & follow instruction well
✓capable of monitoring health and administering medication as needed
✓send regular photos and video updates of your foster cat/s for posting purposes.

IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, PLEASE REACH OUT ASAP by clicking on this link https://forms.gle/urXYD8XGWLH4JENJ8 and filling out our Foster Application form, TODAY!

We hope to have this cat in care this week but we have no foster home yet. CAN YOU HELP?

Can't foster? You know we always need help with funds to cover our medical expenses and help support our foster parents when needed.
If you can send a financial gift of support via
✓e-Transfer: [email protected] ✓PayPal: www.PayPal.me/randomrescuer

Your financial gift in ANY AMOUNT will be an absolute help and is very much needed!

Hello friends - we're in need again.

Yes, always money.

But right now, there's a bigger need. There are SO MANY cats who are desperate for help - old, pregnant, injured and more. Our greatest need at this instant is FOSTER HOMES.

What do you need?
- a room for the cat(s)/kitten(s) to decompress. This could be a bedroom or another room which has a shared use. Exposure to humans is good and important.
- some cats may need a crate (cage) to start off, so a 30"x 48" space for this is good, with room to open at least one cage door.
- an open heart to help a cat or kitten who's in a tough situation because of humans. Yes, humans.
- the ability to connect with the rescue for updates, and to let us know of areas of concern.
- the ability to transport to/from our vet clinics as needed (we have volunteer drivers; however, we can't guarantee that they will be available)
- able to provide food and litter for your foster kitty (we take care of all medical expenses)

Interested? Complete a foster application here: https://forms.gle/gAVtASCoNkhb3H8XA

Can't foster? SHARING THIS POST is free - and maybe you have a friend who could help!

**Note: fosters MUST be within easy driving distance of Toronto to access our vets.

Foster homes needed for pregnant moms, seniors, and shy cats. Please contact Edwards Animal Sanctuary in Uxbridge. Details below.

* Foster needed for shy pregnant mom *

We have a severe shortage of fosters for pregnant moms, senior pairs and shy/semi feral adult cats.

If you might be willing to accept a very pregnant mom today or tomorrow, please reach out asap.

If you are interested in fostering a senior pair or shy/semi feral adult cats for socialization please also reach out.

(Pic for attention only of our new mom and kittens, who settled into their foster home Saturday night with new foster Joanne. Thanks to fosters like Joanne, who stepped up to help. We can only continue to do what we do with the help of dedicated fosters) .

A quiet, separate room is needed, within a reasonable distance from Uxbridge.

Please note, I have been dealing with another rescue emergency this morning and now will be offline for the next hour or so at a personal appt so will get back to any interested people early this afternoon.

Thank you friends.

We also need volunteers for the summer months to offer temporary shelter for when our regular fosters go on vacation.

URGENT NEED: Foster for a feral like female cat. REQUIREMENTS: A room, a kind heart wanting to make a difference, love and patience. Not suited to a home with young children or dogs. This kitty jumped off a delivery truck in Brantford. The tattoo in her ear in unreadable, all of it. This kind of tattoo does not seem to be done anymore around here. If a long term foster is not found sadly it does not look good. Assistance, food and litter will be supplied for her.

I can't stress enough that once you step on board to foster not a kitten or social cat but an untrusting one that you work to earn their trust you will see the rewards and the accomplishment that you feel. There has to be someone out there willing to be that person.

Our Leo has hope.

This scared cat urgently needs a foster home. She jumped off a delivery truck and was probably carried far from her home. She has an unreadable tattoo in her ear, so abandoned or lost. Please contact Brantford North End Cat Rescue if you can help.

😅FOSTER HOME FOUND! Thank you to everyone who reached out offering to help Lulu. xx

🚨IMMEDIATE FOSTER NEEDED!🚨

LULU❤️
Location: Toronto
To Foster: https://forms.gle/urXYD8XGWLH4JENJ8

Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, our foster parent lined up to take Lulu isn't able to take her in. Lulu MUST leave the clinic tomorrow before closing at 8pm because there's nobody there on Sunday.

Lulu's back story:

Lulu is a heartbreaking owner surrender all the way around. She and her mom had been living in a toxic situation for a while. Lulu was never allowed to be brought to the vet despite signs of medical issues like her regular vomiting and her excessive grooming and anxiety. Her mom got them both out of their stressful and toxic living situation; However, her mom is unable to currently meet Lulu's needs because she needs to focus on herself and simply has run out of funds to support Lulu's medical needs. I completely support Lulu's mom's decision to find placement for Lulu.

Lulu is an anxious cat and would thrive best in a quiet home with the company of someone being home, working from home and possibly the company of another quiet cat. She has inflammation of her intestinal tract, some fluid was pulled and there is a mass of some sort in her intestinal tract. The mass is suspected to be part of why she is vomiting so much. We are waiting on one more test and Lulu is also being scheduled for surgery to remove the mass. Lulu is only 2yrs old. Her mom is devastated and we are going to do what we can to help Lulu with of course ... Your help too. 🙏

None of us can always know what life will throw our way until we're standing in it. Lulu and her mom have been through a lot together. Her mom is trying to do what's best for both herself and Lulu based on their individual needs. Lulu will remain a foster cat for a set period of time to give her mom a chance to do what she needs for herself with hope that Lulu and her mom can be reunited. I cannot and will not in good conscience take Lulu and adopt her out down the road without helping these two have a chance to stay together if and when her mom feels ready.

For now, LULU NEEDS AN URGENT FOSTER HOME BY TOMORROW, SATURDAY BEFORE 8PM when the clinic closes. Even if it's just to buy time to find a long term foster, she needs somewhere to go STAT!

Before we receive multiple emails seeking similar help, unfortunately, we cannot and will not do this for every cat in Lulu's situation. It's impossible for us to do. We are simply doing what feels right in this particular situation. That's it.

If you can help us help Lulu by donating, amazing! If you can foster, please fill out our foster application form by clicking on the link posted at the top of this post and be ready to welcome Lulu tomorrow (Saturday).

Lost young cat. If anyone has found or seen this grey tabby kitten, please contact the number below. She urgently needs to be found.

UPDATE: We are working with some neighbours who have kindly offered to help us catch Sweet Pea after confirmed sightings of her. Sounds like she's feeling pretty tired at this point. We don't know what kind of food or water source she's been relying on but, she's at least been confirmed alive by a few neighbours. The first time I heard this, I cried because my anxiety for her safety has been through the roof. It's hard to focus on anything else. Just knowing that she's been seen and is alive is a relief. Now I feel better about our chances for getting her back into safety. Until she's actually safe, I won't feel at ease entirely.
************************

🆘🚨🆘URGENT HELP NEEDED TO FIND SWEET PEA!

Location: Toronto, ON - Broadview and Danforth area. Actual streets noted in poster.

**This is an OLD PHOTO of when she first arrived because I could not obtain anything recent from the foster which makes her date of disappearance more questionable. She is likely slightly bigger now. I absolutely have no words for how I'm feeling right now.

She is thought to have jumped or fallen off her foster parents balcony. THIS is why we always tell foster parents that under no circumstances are our foster cats allowed on any balcony. This was a completely avoidable incident had this foster parent listened to our instructions.

What's worse is that we don't know the exact number of days she has been missing. It is a minimum of 9 days but we suspect longer. Unbeknownst to us, Sweet Pea missed her spay/chip appt. That was scheduled along with her brothers who did go to their appt..

We hope that someone responsible has found her and is keeping her safe.

Unfortunately, very little has been done by her foster parent to find her. If anyone can help us search for her and knock on doors and stick up posters, we'd appreciate it very much.

To say that we are a combination of angry, worried sick and heartbroken that she is lost and alone, is an understatement. The window that is most vital to finding Sweet Pea has been lost to us because her foster parent intentionally withheld telling us that she was missing. We can only hope that we will find her safe and unharmed.

**FOSTER/S STILL NEEDED ASAP!

AFTER THIS, WE ARE CLOSED FOR INTAKE SO WE CAN FOCUS ON ADOPTIONS AND FUNDING FOR ALL OUR MEDICAL EXPENSES! 😮‍💨

IMMEDIATE FOSTERS NEEDED FOR FOUR DUMPED CATS!

Found later at night sitting together in a park. When their finder spotted them, they realized that these four looked like they knew not what to do with themselves. Something seemed off about their situation. So, they brought them inside and now we are seeking immediate fosters for these very, very friendly cats.

2 females, 1 male and 1 female kitten ...
NONE ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED and one is lactating with no signs of babies anywhere in the area they were found.

Due to the fact that the girls are in heat and the male is doing his darndest to lend his expertise in assisting them, they are scheduled for spay/neuter on Monday to avoid any future litters. There are some hormone related dynamic issues going on and the females are not happy campers (as seen in their pic below)😬

On a separate note, we have a 5 week old kitten found in the rain on Monday, coming into care this weekend and hope to locate her litter mates soon as there is said to be a possible colony nearby (we will find help for the colony as well). Then we have the mom and 4 babies who need placement (babies have found a spot but mom needs her own spot) and then I was contacted by another rescue about these cats pictured below.

These are on top of the 7 kittens already just taken in. UGH ... Seriously🫣😮‍💨

I have been working hard to maintain a boundary of how many we can accept into care while balancing this with adoptions and funding. And within barely a week, it's like I just went on a shopping spree I didn't ask for but couldn't help myself because these are all cats/kittens who need help and apparently, clinics are now taking payment in lint.🤦🏻‍♀️

This is 🤬 nuts. Honestly. Rescues can't keep up. I can't keep up. And it breaks my heart to turn away any cat in need so, I do my best to stretch everything (especially the dollar) as best I can. Stretching can only go so far before the snap back happens and all goes to s**t. SO, I will do all I can to raise funds for all the additional expenses and know in my heart that all will work out for each of our fosters, new and old. I am also going to keep repeating in my head "we are closed for intake" until it sticks.😩😭

If you can help by sending us a desperately needed financial gift, here are the ways you can send your support:
✓e-Transfer: [email protected]
✓PayPal: www.PayPal.me/randomrescuer
✓direct donation to Beaches Animal Hospital by calling 416-690-4040

Whatever you can send our way financially, we are grateful!🙏💜

🥴Well, this was an unexpected post combo of a cry for fosters, a cry for funds and just a cry of frustration that there are so many cats and an inability to help them all.😳🧘😮‍💨

FOSTER SECURED FOR KITTENS!

WHO WANTS TO FOSTER THIS FAMILY?

FOSTERING is the difference between life on the streets or seeing these innocent souls snuggled up on the sofa next to their forever family in the safety of a home after YOU teach them what love and trust is all about.

Mom is described as friendly and her 4 kittos are 3-4 months old and feeling a bit skittish but with the right support, they'll be turned into loving fluffballs in no time!💞

If you think you might be a match to foster this family or would like to foster in general, fill out our foster application form here:
