OKAY FOLKS! There is another round of scammers and impersonators trying to scam others in my LeadyPaw name.

This time, Apparently they are claiming to have a white kittens? I don’t work with white, so that’s a red flag right there!
BUT LET IT BE KNOWN- I will not message you from a personal page that you can friend request. AND I DO NOT POST KITTENS IN FACEBOOK GROUPS!!

There is only this page, and there is only one me. I do not have any “sister catteries” or whatever they claim.
It’s just my husband and myself. My website has the most accurate information on how to get in touch with me if you are unsure about Facebook.
However, if you see or get a message from ANYONE other than this page right here, it’s fake.
These people have gone so far as to steal pictures with my children in them, and videos, which is absolutely disgusting. Facebook will not take down the photos and videos regardless of how many times I report them!!!! So this is the only option I am left with, trying to warn everyone from my page here.

Here are some tips to help:
If a kitten is less than $2000, regardless if it’s me or another page, it’s a scam.
If there is broken English or pushy messages about trying to get you to pay them, it’s a scam.
If they have all kinds of different cats, colors of cats, backgrounds, etc… it’s a scam!
If it seems too good to be true, 9 times out of 10, that’s because it is!
If they are claiming to be me, but cannot prove where they are from, or give fake drivers licenses claiming to be me, WITH THE WRONG INFORMATION (first of all I am a girl, and my location can be easily found if you look at my website. Rural STLMO is more than enough info for you to figure it out.

And for the record, if you fall for a scam, even if they are claiming to be me or friends with me, I am not responsible, and I am not able to help you talk to them. Please just do your research! It’s easy to not fall for scams if you just do your homework!

Legal First and last name
Phone number
Gender preference
Color preference
Polydactyl or regular paw preference
And if you have already completed the application on my website!

I will request a reservation fee after we have discussed your adoption application!

Our schedules have been CRAZY since school let out! We have been doing Morning AND Evening VBS’s this week, on top of my usual cat-mom and human-mom antics! But I promise I see your messages coming through. I just fall asleep when I sit down for 5 minutes to read messages! Having a 8, 5, and 3 year old who are all hyperactive keeps me on my toes!

Life has been a bit wild these last weeks, but yes we are still alive and everyone is doing well finally!

I do have ONE POLYDACTYL GIRL (blue silver) looking for her furever family! She would do well in a home with older or no kids, but would be fine with other cats!

I am excited to announce that we do have babies on the way, and I am VERY excited about these pairings!

Summer is crazy time, with working a real-life job out of the home, plus multiple kids in multiple sports, pre-summer school parties for multiple kids, work events, and trying to be present for my kids and cats, I’m not on social media or on my phone very much.
I do see your messages, I just haven’t had more than a few minutes of spare time to respond! But I am still here and seeing them!
I’m going to try and do better about responding, I promise!
In the meantime- here is some cat cuteness from a family who just recently adopted their THIRD LEADYPAW KITTEN! Baby Hulk appears to be loving his two big brothers Thor and Loki already!

Real life update post today:
My 8 year old son Wyatt just got out of surgery, and will have a long week of recovery! I will not be checking or replying to messages this week! Prayers are appreciated for a speedy and painless recovery!

Scammers like these have stolen pics of mine, with and without my logo, AND including photos of myself and my children. They have gone so far as to imitating my personal profile and stealing my family photos. STAY SAFE OUT THERE AND DONT FALL FOR SCAMS! If it seems too good to be true, IT IS!

This boy ❤️
In my cattery, his litter name was Jolly. He went to a repeat LeadyPaw family by the name of Thor, but he chose to come back home. I had planned to keep him as just a loveable pet after that, but opportunity arose to bless a family who we are personal friends with, with him. He has been in his furever home for a while now, and goes by the name of Sully. He is one of the most beautiful babies! This guy has had my heart from birth. I’m so glad The Kiefer family adopted him, so we get allll the fun stories! He goes back for a check up today after an unexpected injury (trachea tear from intubation after his neuter surgery.). We are praying for you Sully to get the all clear today! ❤️

Busy early mornings are so worth it for these precious faces! Both expecting mommas had babies together, and I am so glad for them. Polydactyl has been expressed in both litters! That being said, I am busier now than EVER! Merry Christmas early!

I’ve been getting a TON of messages inquiring about babies, and we have been so overwhelmed with the holiday season already that I just haven’t had time to sort through all of them!

I have TWO kittens now that will be ready to go home for Christmas, one black smoke male and one silver ticked female. I will get them photographed this week for everyone!

We had taken a bit of a break in breeding over the summer and fall, but I am glad to announce that we are expecting babies ANY DAY!

Snuggles with Lancelot is how all of us fall asleep at night. How loud purrs and warm giant fluffy body is so comforting!
When my kids aren’t sleeping with him, he sleeps like this with me, taking most of the bed up (my poor husband). Having a heart cat definitely makes life a little sweeter, but seeing him love my babies like he loves me is icing on the cake!

Update- she has her forever family!!

This is the last little girl, on the search for her forever lap! She LOOOOVES my kids and being the center of attention, and gets along so well with our dogs and other cats. She is so playful and curious, so sweet and just a joy to have.

*ahem* I am stepping on a soap box. Fair warning!

This is my one and only warning to everyone on here. DO NOT FALL FOR SCAMMERS!
If you do not like my prices, and fall victim to a scam (even if the scammer was in a comment on my or another breeders page) because you wanted cheaper option, that is no one’s fault but your own.
You cannot go to ANY BREEDER and expect them to give you a discount because you have fallen to a scammer. Cheap cats aren’t real, and if by some miracle you actually get a kitten that’s cheap, it’s probably a genetic nightmare or not even a purebred. I’m not responsible for anyone or anything other than for things that were written by ME and me alone. I do my absolute best to try to keep scammers on my page at bay. Here is a screenshot of how many scammers I have blocked on only ONE comment thread. I have received over 50 scammer comments on my post that I posted earlier this evening, and I already have so many settings and blocks set up that most get removed automatically. What doesn’t get removed, I have to go a physically block and remove. This takes time and I can’t always have my phone in my hand to see when these comments come through.
DO NOT CLICK ON LINKS THAT ARE NOT POSTED BY THE ORIGINAL PAGE! Anything else is likely a scam, and you will lose your hind end, and have nothing to show for it.
Please do your research when searching for a new family member. Don’t join suspicious groups, and don’t follow any pages that have the name “adoption” or “home” or “rehoming” or anything of the sort in the name. It’s an automatic giveaway to a scammer. Check the photos that I am posting to see examples of what scammer comments and pages/groups can look like. If you want a legitimate kitten from a legitimate breeder, please do your research before handing over money. You have been warned!

These two girls are the last of their litter, and they are ready to come home today! They are SOOOOO incredibly sweet, and they absolutely LOVE CHILDREN! They are suitable for homes that are a little bit crazy, they are used to the chaos and all of our kids and their friends loving on them. They are also very comfortable with our dogs! All of our Maine C***s have been imported from reputable top quality breeders whom of which we have built great friendships with. We specialize in the exotic European Maine C***s. We prefer the size and "wild" appearance of the European variety. The distinguished and well-defined profile, the prominent tufted ears, the enchanting eyes, the luxurious coat, and the powerful, “wildcat” look.
