Please welcome six year old Frankie into our ACDR Family. He is a sweetheart, devilishly handsome and an IVDD Warrior. Frankie will need to see the vet for a check-up once he has had some time to settle into his foster home.

As a Registered Charity, we rely solely on donations from our followers & supporters to help pay for veterinary care, food, beds, toys and anything else the doxies need.

Happy National Hug your Dog Day
For those of you who have dogs that like to be hugged, cuddled and held...today is for you!
Give them an extra cuddle from us.
If your dog isn't big on being hugged, that is okay too, you can still celebrate today by scratching their ears, giving them a belly rub, a special treat or even going for a walk. Whatever they prefer, do that , just to show them how much you care.

We had a special guest in our booth today at the Nova Scotia Spring Ideal Home Show.
This sweet little doxie came to us without a name. We had visitors to our booth enter the contest to pick a name.
The winner chose the name 'Sese'.
We think the name suits her perfectly 🥰🐾💕
