Cue the confetti and a few proud tears… this one feels big. 🤍
We’re officially handing over the reins.
Mia first came to us from The Horse Shelter, and for the past 8 years, she’s been one of our most trusted trail ambassadors carrying riders, building confidence, and quietly changing lives along the way.
Now, through our After the Adventure program, Mia is stepping into her next chapter.
She’s been adopted by Eddie and Meryl.
And if you know Meryl, you know this was always the plan. Our head wrangler has said from the beginning, “One day, she’s coming home with me.”
That day is here.
From rescue… to trail partner… to forever home.
This is the full story. This is why EERC exists.
Mia’s job may be changing, but her people aren’t. She’s trading long trail days for a life of deep connection, slow mornings, and being fully someone’s own.
Go live the good life, Mia. You’ve carried so many… now it’s your turn to be carried. 🐴✨
