As June is now upon us I've realised that I have been rather slack in posting any recent show results and haven't done updates for a few months. I've also been slack in getting photos of them with any of their awards - so I'm going to do a collective post with some pics and hopefully will get back on track for future shows.

I've been fortunate to have won numerous BOBs at each show, but won't list them and just stick to the in-show awards.

Designed and manufactured in Australia these waterbottle holders are eco-friendly and will make refilling water a breeze! Just attach it to the inside of your cage and the bottle slides smoothly in and out with ease, so simple it can be done single handedly.

So the new waterbottle holders have gone out to a handful of people to try and everyone has given feedback that they're fabulous and have pre-ordered more!

They attach simply to the inside of your cage to wire, wood or smooth surfaces and allow quick and easy waterbottle changing.

They also help prevent water bottles leaking because they aren't getting squeezed by spring holders and aren't getting shaken about like they can be when held with rubber band or wire.

Made from ECO friendly plastic these holders will be available in a variety of colours and are a very affordable price. Selling for just $10 each or, if you want the 250ml waterbottle included then only $15 combined! (No need to pay $30+ for similar holders that comes without the waterbottle).

These fabulous waterbottle holders have been designed, manufactured and made here in Australia 🇦🇺 on the Central Coast by a small, independent busines.

They'll be available from the 16th April at the Sydney Royal Easter Show (at the Cavy Show in the Small Animal Pavilion).

I'm excited to share that we'll have some brand new waterbottle holders available to purchase soon!

Designed, Manufactured and Made in Australia these new holders will make attaching and removing waterbottles from cages so much easier!

The waterbottle simply slips into place - because there is no pressure in holding the bottle it will minimise leaking, the bottle also won't rattle about or move while they're drinking.

Attaching on the inside of your cage to wire, wood or smooth surfaces these holders are not only durable and simple to use, but affordable - a holder will be just $10, or $15 as a package with the 250ml waterbottle !

🌟 GOULBURN AG SHOW 🌟
1st March 2025

Wow! What a fabulous double show this was. I was so fortunate to win Reserve in Show in the Young Stock Show under Karen Nichols with my Crested Black and then Best in Show with my Rex under Travis Finkle who had had travelled all the way from the USA to judge for us.

This was my first BIS with a Rex! (my first ever BIG and RIS were actually both with rex back in the late 90s 🤯, and I've had a few RIS since) BIS is an incredible feat for a young sow who's only just gone up into the adult class. Thank you so much to breeder Melanie Barnes for entrusting me with this gorgeous girl.

There was a lovely backdrop set up on the day for the photobooth, but I completely forgot about getting photos on the day of Wendy 🙄. Thanks Travis for some of these photos too (have added in a great pic of my Chocolate Roan, Eskara Chomp A-Lot).

I was fortunate to have won multiple BOBs in both shows (I only had 4 cavies entered in the Young Stock Show) and have just listed the In-Show awards

Judge: Robert Brown, VIC

What a great way to finish of the weekend exhibiting at the Canberra Royal.

Day 2 also had multiple BOBs, with the highlight of the day being my Crested Black winning Best in Show (after 4 previous RIS wins). Judge Robert has specialised in Crested Blacks for many decades, so an award from such a knowledgeable and experienced judge is very high praise. A big thank you also to Drew for sending such a gorgeous girl.

Headed down to Canberra for the 2 day Double Show as part of Canberra Royal.

Had a very successful first day with multiple BOBs throughout the day, my baby black roan boar not only beating my older girls for the Best of Breed but going on to win Best Marked, and my lovely Golden Boar winning Reserve in Show
