The Marine Battalion Landing Team-4 is operationally capable under the designation as the first Maritime Security (MARSEC) Battalion of the Philippine Marine Corps.

Amidst the increasing external threats and border disputes, the Marine Battalion Landing Team-4 will commit to its new mission of securing the country’s Sea Lines of Communication (SLOCs) as a part of the greater mission of the Philippine Marine Corps.

The unit’s transformation demonstrates the PMC’s adaptability and readiness to conduct maritime operations and littoral maneuvers in the southwestern frontier of archipelagic defense.
