North Florida Chapter of The National Canine Cancer Foundation The North Florida Chapter of the NCCF is committed to eliminating cancer in dogs. Please join me in this fight. Together, we are the cure.

This chapter was created in memory of my best gal, Chesney Cheeseball who lost her battle to Amelanotic Malignant Melanoma in January 2012. Our main goal is to raise donations through various events to help fund canine cancer research. By doing so, we will raise community awareness about this disease and help educate pet owners about canine cancer, treatment, or other available options.

It's January! Have you downloaded your FREE Wellness Journal? When do you use the Wellness Journal? After you do the 11 points Check Your Dog list and you can enter some fun things you did with your favorite pup as well as any new tricks they learned and a new picture from that month.

Also take time to journal about your dog’s temperament or any quirks you might notice. This might be important. For instance, if you dog responds slowly to a sit command, it could be that something hurts, but it could also be training related!

Download it today and it will help you with your dog's health and wellbeing!

Pictures is what I have left. I loved taking pictures and I’m so grateful I have so many! This was 13 years ago!! I can hardly believe it’s been that long and I still know exactly what she was doing. She was staring at a bird that landed next to the window. She had such focus on the things she was interested in. Emma was intense and silly. Her attitude was my challenge and I learned so much. We lost her to cancer 6 years ago but she is clearly still part of our family. Our kids who were toddlers@when she died still remember her and talk@about her. Cancer is mean but it can’t keep us from remembering all the little things that summed up to a huge love and a lot of Fun!

Time to shop for all the Mom's out there. We have some great items at the WeAreTheCure.org shop ( 👆 ) BUT there is another way to continue the fight against cancer in dogs when you find something cool on Amazon to buy - use the
smile.amazon.com link to buy whatever, just make sure you have designated the National Canine Cancer Foundation as your charity. Then each time you buy any gift or something you need from there, you are contributing to the NCCF.
