FCI BREEDER OF SCHIPPERKES Dog breeding is the practice of mating selected dogs with the intent to maintain and improve specific qualities and characteristics.

Such as a better breed type, health and temperament. This is our goal and also our responsibility as a breeder. A serious breeder can picture him/herself the ideal type of dog and will strive for this. Breeding is based on certain data, combined with our experience and knowledge this should lead to the desired result. We can read who the parents and grandparents are from the pedigrees of dogs and

surch for pure elements to obtain the qualities of a typical Ca de Bou. We combine this data with our experience and knowledge of the ancestors, how they look, what their special strengths and faults are, from which line they come from. The state of health of the parents like genetic diseases and inherited disorders. All this you have to know before you start breeding. Because if you start breeding why not in the best possible way. After all, the dogs that are born now are the dogs of the future. A breeder determines the future of the breed and the survival of the breed. Breeding can be expensive, time-consuming and sometimes very depressive. But for many Ca de Bou breeders, nothing is more rewarding than being involved in the life of a new pup of Ca de Bou.

Het bij ons geboren Schipperke nestje hebben we vernoemd naar een aantal personages van Star Trek. Na het onterechte fokverbod in Nederland van vele rassen zijn we destijds uit gaan kijken naar een ander ras. Voor ons was dat net als de Enterprise en de Voyager een hele ontdekkingsreis om een voor ons passend ras te vinden. Na een lange zoektocht en enkele bezoeken aan fokkers van diverse rassen zijn we uiteindelijk bij het Schipperke uitgekomen.....

Bij de keuze voor een nieuw ras is het belangrijk te kijken naar de specifieke gewoonten, de bewegingsbehoefte, de karaktertrekken en de leergierigheid van het ras. Dat vereist inzicht in de rasgroep, aangezien elk ras unieke eigenschappen heeft. Daarna gaat het een missie worden en je gaat je inzetten om gezonde en rastypische Schipperkes te fokken. Vervolgens probeer je om nieuw leven op de wereld te zetten wat resulteert in dit mooie nestje....

Goedemorgen 😊
Nou, we zijn de eerste nacht goed doorgekomen. Ons mama zorgt al goed voor ons dus we waren uiterst tevreden en content 🥰 Onze andere mama heeft zonet gezorgd dat we warm en schoon zijn dus wij komen zo de dag wel door.....
