🖤🤍Adopt Wizard the Tuxedo Kitten🤍🖤

🐾Wizard is an off the charts adorable 13 week old, short-medium haired tuxedo kitten. He joined us from the county shelter with a nasty URI, infection, anemia and corneal ulcers. We knew he needed specialized care and were happy to have him join us. ⏩️Fast forward 6 weeks, 4 surgeries, around the clock medications and TLC and our boy has made a full and complete recovery! Yay! 💪🎉

🐾🔮Wizard is such a fun kitten! He is very silly, playful and sweet! He loves to explore, play, and be around people and pets. He is a busy little guy & the bravest little toaster!

✅️He is amazing with kids, cats and dogs and his foster home has had all 3!
🔸️He requires a playful, kitty friend 3 years old or younger to keep him company!

🥰Wizard is so fun, loving and sweet as can be. We absolutely adore this little guy & you will too!

🌈💔I am extremely heartbroken to share that Gadget has gained her wings and crossed the rainbow bridge.

She has spent the day with the UF neurology team and various specialists all day and they gave her a 0% outcome. (Which was a new one for us. We live in the 1% but 0% was a painful shock.)

She's been in excruciating pain and on ketamine and fentanyl and they suspect she has spinal disease that slowly rots the cord due to the severe trauma. She'd never have regained any functions and this is all before considering the severity of her laceration that was being flushed constantly to prevent infection with no prognosis on how to actually seal it. Her trauma was so severe, so complex and so tragic. We are absolutely gutted.

They think she sustained these injuries days ago and we are just very thankful that she didn't have to endure another minute of suffering.

I did request a good meal which will be turkey and sweet potaotes as she hasn't eaten in days. We requested photos of her. I asked for her to be held and the whole team and vet (who was so kind and really wanted to save her too) will surround her and give her head pets and tell her how much we all love her and how brave a best girl she is. I also requested a paw print for us to treasure of her memory. It especially stings to not be there with her as internally as a team, we never let an animal cross without us. We also never euthanize unless we are at thr end of the road. And we were. And we searched and fought for a way out of it, but there was no way out of her fate. And it hurts. A lot.

Love, skill, money and desire couldn't save this girl and she will live in my heart forever. It's really not fair that her life was cut short in such a traumatic way. This case was unique and beyond devastating and I am so sorry that we couldn't save her.

I only knew her for less than 18 hours but I loved her already. We love our animals beyond what words can express. This one will always hurt. The only solace is knowing we were able to try, to advocate for her, and to be surrounded by so much support in our mission to save animals. It really means the world, especially in these dark moments.

I want to thank you all again for believing in me and this rescue and trusting me with the heartbreaking job of making sure at every turn I do what's best for these babies. We are very much a team here, but ultimately, these decisions are mine to burden and I will not begin to try and express the actual heartbreak and devastation I carry with me every day. Lord knows, if love could have saved her, if there was a mountain to move, she'd have lived forever. I hold very dear the honor, the privelage, and the heartbreak that are my constant companions in walking a life of service to animals and a mission to live with compassion, empathy and love forward. These animals shape who I am and while it may continually gut my soul, it also renews my strength every day to try harder to impact more lives for the better. They deserve that.

Thank you for trusting me, my team, this rescue, and these amazing souls we meet along the way. We know you cry with us and your support is a blessing wr do not take for granted. 💔

Our hearts broke seeing you so sleepy and frustrated and scared last night and I wish we could have made it all better for you. 🐾HP is a stunning dilute tortoiseshell kitten with the most beautiful coloring! We rescued her at just 14 days old from the county shelter and hand raised her. She is now 14 weeks old and looking for her forever home!

🐾HP is so adorable and sweet with the plushest fur. She is an extremely confident girl and LOVES to play. She purrs at the touch. She is absolutely fearless and her nickname is "Terminator" because she go, go, goes! She is such a fun & spunky kitten! ✨️She is also talkative and very social.

✅️She would love a home with lots to do! She has been raised with cats & dogs and would be fine for kids aged 6+ too!

✔️Her forever home requires a playful cat 6 or younger, male preferred as she is a diva. 👑She is a Princess with the tortitude.

❤️‍🩹Gadget update: Gadget has been admitted to the UF hospital and we have approved the works to try everything to save her. We put a $9,000 deposit down for our $10-12k estimate.

😵‍💫It is 3:54am and we just got home.

🙏We will see what tomorrow brings but please keep sharing and a huge thank you to those who have donated and sent well wishes so far.

🫶We need the power of our community on this one, it's a really challenging and heartbreaking rescue and we are really pulling for this sweet girl.

‼️‼️Village- SOS- buckle up we are on a journey. 💥Please HELP us save Gadget!

⚠️TW severe trauma/graphic photos⚠️

❤️‍🩹Meet Gadget. This 12.3 #, 1 year old chihuahua mix (who I am convinced is part Fennec Fox) was picked up by animal.control today after apparently being hit by a car. 💔

The usual: no collar no tags no chip unvetted

💔❤️‍🩹Her injuries are SEVERE and extremely emergent. We have attached her photos and xrays and they are graphic and very rough to see. She has a broken back and a traumatic lumbar fracture that may also be luxated. More on that later. She also has a very deep and large laceration from where she was hit. This little girl is not in good shape. This injury is extremely bad as all spinal cord injuries are.

Despite the odds- the shelter sent out a rescue plea. That we followed for an hour or 2 until 4pm when we realized no one was coming for her. So we did because this girl was fighting and we are so grateful that the shelter chose to give her a chance with a rescue.

We triaged her to Blue Pearl where the vet on duty and I spent an hour+ on calls with almost every specialist on the West Coast. No one would take her case on or were able to. She needs both a neurologist and an orthopedic. So we called the last remaining option and they said yes. Get her here immediately.

However. "Here" is in Gainesville at UF. And transporting a dog with a broken back is not easy. She also has on a fentanyl patch to manage the extreme pain which makes handling her extra difficult. Nevertheless.

😵‍💫Hours later. We are here at UF at 11:47pm. With a 6-8 hour WAIT even though we triaged her case remotely 3 hours ago. She's in the back. She's too drugged up to be in pain which is at least something. Our quote before leaving to come here was $8k-$12k.

😭We aren't sure what diagnostics will show. She needs a full work up. We aren't entirely sure her options yet. What we do know, is we are going to try and not quit until she tells us to.

😫This is her only hope. We are her only chance.

❤️‍🩹More details. Gadget is alert. Her vitals are shockingly good. She is stable. Her pain is managed. We actually saw her p**p on the way and move her tail and we are hoping that means her spine is still communicating and not severed. Her bladder did need manual expression earlier but with ease. We know she needs the works. A CT, surgery. Extremely specialized care. So here we are. She will get it all even if it costs us these 900 arms and 400 legs. That's our promise to our animals.

❤️‍🩹Gadget fights. So we fight.

🐾Her journey is going to be long and we don't know yet what that will look like. But we are here. Somehow. Extremely exhausted and this was entirely unexpected. But we are here for her.

‼️And we need you! Gadget needs you! She needs the Tampa Bay village to rally for her. Together we can come together to cover her care. It's extensive and we don't definitively know yet her prognosis. But we are walking this journey one step and one minute at a time to give this extremely young, sweet, gorgeous girl every opportunity to live her life fully. She deserves that.

❣️We will update as soon as we meet her specialist. We are so grateful they said yes to take on her case. We are so grateful for our team who rallied today to get her in our care and out of the shelter. And we are so grateful for any and all prayers, healing vibes, miracles and dollars you can send our way.

🐾Meet Presley 📍Tampa Bay

😻⛵️Dreamboat Alert

🐈‍⬛Presley is a super fluffy, long-haired solid black void kitten. He was born in July 2025 outdoors to a kitty who was left behind when her owners moved. (We have her too!)

🖤Presley is extra special in so many ways.
1️⃣ He is a polydactly aka Hemingway and both his front paws have extra toesies!

2️⃣Presley was also born with a "crooked" back leg. We've done the xrays and he has no pain and there'snothing really to do for it, his bones in 1 rear leg are sort of bowed and it caused him to have a slight limp and bow foot but it doesn't cause him any pain and we believe he was born with that deformity. Because of it, he is quite mellow and doesn't jump too crazy as kittens his age often will but it does not stop him and he runs and plays! He is a happy boy!

❤️‍🩹Presley also had 2 breaks in his tail along the way, presumably from his life outdoors, but xrays have shown that those have also healed and cause no pain. You'll just feel the crooked spots when petting his tail.

💕Presley is super loving, soft, fluffy and sweet as they come. He LOVES other cats and 100% requires a kitty friend under 4 years old. He absolutely squeaks with joy playing with other cats. He is fine with dogs. Great with kids and loves to eat, play and sleep on soft blankies and warm beds!

🐾He is going to be a big boy and he is just 1 of a kind. We absolutely adore this special little guy!!!! If you want the sweetest and most precious boy, here he is!

✅️He is fully vetted & is a healthy boy. He is not special needs he is simply just special!
