Addison or "Addy" is a beautiful 9.5 year old mixed breed girl. Addy is a large dog, weighing 100 pounds. This big girl has a big heart to match. Addy is described as being "incredibly sweet, gentle, loving, peaceful, and loyal.

Addy has lived with other dogs and we are told she is appropriately social with those she meets. At this time, Addy lives with a cat. She is calm around cats and is very good around gentle children.

We are told Addy has been fine to stay alone in her home, managing quite a while between potty breaks. No dog should have to wait too long to relieve themself, especially as they age.

Reportedly, Addy does not bark much. She loves to hang out on the couch and sleep in the bed with her person. Addy has a blanket she likes to suck on like a pacifier-what a darling girl.

Addy has arthritis that makes climbing stairs difficult. A dog of her size will not be easily carried up and down stairs, should she become unable to as time goes on. Addy is not currently taking anything to help for her arthritis so we would hope her adopter would take her to the vet and find out what would be best to help alleviate her discomfort. The arthritis does not stop Addy from enjoying playtime with her ball or rope. Walks with Addy sound enjoyable as she behaves herself on leash.

We think Addy will make a wonderful addition to a home. We hope to find a wonderful home for her.

We’re looking for adult size shoeboxes from tennis shoes to boots to turn into festive gift packs for sale soon. Every box donated helps us raise funds for homeless pets while spreading holiday joy to cats and dogs in our community.
