Mommy here: Sometimes it really is the little things that can bring us the most happiness. Today, that little thing is Bodie and Norah’s friendship. Bodie and Norah had the two worst pasts of all the Mighties. Norah was EXTREMELY neglected physically and socially, and Bodie was very obviously physically abused and had to fight for his existence.

Now, just over recent weeks, they have become bonded in such a special way. Norah has taught Bodie gentle play and Bodie seeks out Norah for comfort.

The fact that these two damaged little souls have found each other and find solace in each other, even when they don’t necessarily trust humans, is something very special. Bodie has been very slow to bond with anyone and Norah still experiences anxiety that causes her to tremble nearly daily, but here they are, bonded together and finding their brave with each other.

I’ve worked with a LOT of rescue dogs through NMDR and to me, this is the most special part…getting to watch the healing occur in real time. We all have hurt in our lives and are all damaged in our own ways. But we can learn a lot from a couple of former puppy mill parents whose resilience allows them to say: Yes. That was hard. We were scared. But today is a new day and we will fight this fight for happiness together ♥️

I saw this online earlier today and decided to try it. It works like a charm! I’m making potato salad and needed 8 boiled eggs, chopped. Did you know you can just crack them in a bowl and put the whole bowl in a pot of water? No ice bath or peeling is required!
