Hello hooms! It’s me, Smokey. Do I look familiar? I’m on the cover of the rescue’s Bunny 101 booklet. My mom says it’s because I’m so handsome. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

THIS IS A BUNNY TAKEOVER!! Surrender all of your bananas immediately. I’ve commandeered my mom’s laptop and am now in charge of A Home for EveryBunny’s social media. Watch out, hooms, because I’m going to share the real deal on being a house rabbit. The good, the bad, and the occasional and shocking lack of bananas in this house. Or in my mouth. (As far as I’m concerned, they’re one and the same.) Follow along, if you’d like!

Heyyyyyy people out there in bunny land! Long time no see. 😳 It's been a year. And by that I mean both it's literally been a year since we posted last AND it's been a tough one at that. I'm sure many of you can relate.

We're happy to report that we're still chugging along with all three of our lops and thought this picture of Crumpet was too precious not to share. He recently turned 10, and despite some recent scary health/mobility issues, he's stable and has some old man zip in him at the moment. His back legs drag the floor when he hops, so we always know where he is. And he still loves to follow us all around the house, looking for treats and things to inspect.

This little lady turned 8 last week! While she may be getting up there in bunny years, she has shown no signs of aging or slowing down. She's as spry and sassy as ever!

The past few days, we have suspiciously found headphones, that we left on the dining room table (safely, out of reach of the bunnies), on the floor in the morning. The hubs and I both assumed the other knocked them off. Then yesterday, the hubs caught Smokey red-handed on the table, eating the mint out of a bouquet of flowers! 😲 He figured out how to jump up on the dining room chairs and from there launched himself onto the table. Hims is very proud! 🤦‍♀️Thankfully it was just the mint and not the other toxic plants also in the arrangement. So now our dining room table has no chairs around it at night, and bouquets are no longer allowed to grace our table. Who is really in charge here? 🤣
