Often in life, inspiration can come in the most unlikely of places. For the Givebones team, it happened in Nicaragua on a mission for TOMS Shoes. While down in Central America building a local community center and giving out shoes to children in need we couldn’t help but notice the staggering amount of homeless and stray dogs everywhere. There was one dog in particular who at first sight sadly lived up to his name: Bones. He was so skinny and emaciated it was clear that it was too late to help this sweet and innocent dog. After seeing Bones and became apparent that something needed to be done. A company was born: a company dedicated to helping dogs like Bones so they can have a chance at a better life. To honor the dog that started it all, the company is called Givebones and focuses on giving every dog the life they deserve. MISSION:
