Uodate November 2, 2024: I took Jasper to the vet this week because he had a small bump on his ear. The vet was concerned and did a needle poke to see what is was and it turned out to be a mast cell tumor. So Jasper will be having surgery to remove the tumor and to stage him on November 27, 2024.

Although I can put the expense on credit (and I’ve never felt comfortable asking for help), I thought I would promote more of my crochet and use the proceeds to help with the cost of his surgery (low to high estimate $937-1006).

I will be posting more of my handmade scarves, as those are what I consider my specialty and I love making them.

I still have the custom coffee sleeves available for order and am open to other custom orders pertaining to afghans or baby blankets.

Also, if anyone has any experience with mast cell tumors, I’d be appreciative to learn more. Right now, the vet has him on Benedryl twice daily to keep the mast cells happy.
