GOALS:
Prevent cruelty to animals in all its forms by providing rescue, housing, feeding, and medical attention for lost, stray, injured, or abandoned animals. Investigate complaints of cruelty brought to our attention. If cases of cruelty are not resolved through education, then offenders are prosecuted. Promote respect for animals and awareness of human responsibility for their welfare through e

ducational school presentations and general information to the public through print media and the Society's website. Maintain the dignity and defense of our goals through effective and meaningful interaction with communities throughout the counties we serve.

****Update**** We are no longer accepting garage sale donations at the shelter. Please bring your donations to the Fairgrounds on Wednesday 8/20 from 10 to 3. Thank you to all who have donated! Looks like it’s going to be a great sale!!

❤️Say hello to Marley!❤️
🐾🐾🐾This sweet girl is a three year old hound mix just looking for love. She loves to make friends with anyone and anything! All Marley wants to do is be by your side, regardless of what you’re up to. She enjoys being with someone so much so, that she gets a fair bit of separation anxiety when she is alone and would do best crated in those situations. She does know a few basic commands and does well on a leash!🐾🐾🐾

💚Ranger's day out!💚
🐾🐾🐾Our friend Ranger got to go on an adventure with his favorite person Nikki! Ranger was super sweet and loved getting to meet new people. He did super well on the car ride, part of it in his crate and part freely sitting by his friends. Ranger met a super sweet lady at Petsmart who even bought him a couple toys! He was very curious about the birds he met, and even saw a couple rabbits.
Ranger is still looking for his forever home, and is more than ready to meet his forever favorite person/people!🐾🐾🐾

❤️Meet Murf❤️
🐾🐾🐾Murf is a gentle soul. He is very quiet and seems to take life one step at a time. Murf seems to be very content living a simplistic life of walks, cuddles, and nap time. Though Murf is typically a calm boy, he is only two years old and can certainly get energized for a bit of play time. Murf really enjoys spending time with people he trusts, would likely do well with kids, and may even enjoy having a canine companion.🐾🐾🐾

🐾🐾🐾Tate aka Tater is a very sweet boy just ready to find his forever home. He does not seem to mind cats. He may do okay with another dog in the home but a meet and greet would be required. At two years he is a very energetic boy with lots of love to give. Please keep in mind with dogs like Tate, he is very susceptible to a variety of health issues largely due to their physical appearance. Please be familiar with these issues before you decide if Tate is the right fit for you. Currently he is happy, healthy, and ready for a new home!🐾🐾🐾

💙Sane💙
🐾🐾🐾Sane is such a gentle soul. This boy seems to love everyone he meets. He does not seem to mind much of anything, and would probably do okay with kids or a new dog friend. Sane seems to walk well on a leash and does okay on car rides. This guy is just ready to make a lifelong friend or two. If you feel like something is missing in your life, it just might be Sane.🐾🐾🐾

🐾🐾🐾This boy is an absolute lover. Koda wants to do whatever he can to please. He loves to be shown affection and is more than happy to show just how much he appreciates hanging out with you! Koda does have a skin issue that is currently being treated. He came in that way unfortunately but is looking so much better after just a few weeks!🐾🐾🐾
