They are all adorable arent they? They are cute, sweet and they melt your heart like all the pups.
These are the 4 girls from the kokoni/frenchie litter that was found abandoned 2 weeks ago. The 4 little angels are 5 weeks old now and going to 6th week. They are dewormed twice so far and ar eating well. No worms just the expected paracites that pups have. As expected they are playful, independent, cheerful, sociable, want to put their nose into everything. Who ever adopts one, will be very lucky for sure. All pups will be small size. Actually we believe that 2 girls will be mini size cause they are the smallest pups. The 2 boys are the biggest in size but they will still be small.
For those interested in adopting one, you can download our application form from our website or you can message us to send it to you. What ever is easier. Keep in mind that we are in Cyprus and the pups are barely 1,5 months old. They cant fly abroad even though we send dozens of dogs to european countries every month. To be able to fly they need to be 4 months old so you will need to fill and application form and wait 2,5 months till they are old enough. We do homechecks and theres an adoption fee you will need to pay.

Back to the vet for a check up and neutering. Julian and Jasper, the 2 english pointers we got 2 months ago from the pound and doing much better.
Julian is the pup that was most scared. He was also the most swollen of the 2 and had more scares than Jasper. Now thank god all is gone. You can see the scars on his legs almost healed. We hope that with time, we will also heal the scars on his heart cause bless him hes such a sweet boy. The 2 pups are around 8,5-9 months old now. They are full size and Julian as the biggest is around 20 kilos. They still have some growing and hopefylly more gaining weight to do.
We dont know if anyone would want to adopt any of these boys. Yes they are still scared but they will have much more progress in a home than a cage. Both are fine with other dogs and we believe they will be fine with cats. We havent tested them but they dont care about cats plus they are too scared to run after a cat. They are kind hearted doggies, sweeties and its a shame to have them at the shelter. Our application form can be downloaded from our website. If youncant find it, just message us and we will send it to you. We do homechecks and accordingly to where you live, its the cost you will have to pay cause it includes transportation. As much as we wanted to affort to pay everything, we cant so the adopter pays the dogs expenses.

They look soooo happy for their achievement!! So proud of what they did. How can you be mad at them???
Manu and Riri still wait for a home. These adorable little peki/pincher crosses, are still with us waiting for homes. Yes, they are special cause they need work and help but trust us they worth it. Both pups, they 're close to a 9 months old now, come from a closed environment. Unfortunately they didnt have any socialization so they dont know how to behave. As you can see they are just learning to be pups and how to play. We put socialised pups with them and their progress is amazing. They still dont let us pick them up but they come close to us and lick our hands, they cheer us and pick treats from our hands. When we first brought them they were hiding. Now they play and have fun.
If they go in a home with another dog, they will make amazing progress cause they will also have more attention than here with us.
If anyone believes that can help these beautiful pups, please message us.

The weather started to cool down ( thank god!!! ) so we will be slowly starting to walk our doggies again. For those who dont know the cypriot climate, during summer months we cant even walk at night time. We have temperatures reaching 45s daytime and 32c at nightime. Its impossible to walk outside. Its impossible to stand, to sit outside. You can have a heatstroke just by sitting outside in the shade. From end of May till end of September we dont walk the dogs, its only play time late in afternoon.
Now the temperature has dropped to 34c daytime and 23c nighttime which is tolerable. So we are starting slowly slowly to walk the dogs but we need walking buddies. We need people to come and help us walk the dogs. With 40 large size dogs, 20 medium sizes and close to 30 pups its impossible to walk any dog. We barely manage to clean them and feed them. We have 2 cleaning sessions and it takes us 3 hours each time. You can guess whats going on during cleaning.
We would be very grateful if someone would come and help with walking our doggies. We need the help and unfortunately we dont have it. Even once a month to come its a big help. Especially if we have 10 people coming to help. If anyone can help, please message us.

An update for one of our gorgeous doggies in Uk already. This gorgeous boy is still in foster care and needs a new family. He's in foster home in Ipswich where he will stay till he finds a new home.
Dougie is an abandoned hunting dog, hes one of the thousands of dogs we have here that was kept in a small cage isolated in a field. Cyprus is full with such cages and no one ever does anything. This is why we prefer him to be adopted in a homr with older children. Its not hes fault but he wasnt raised with young children.
Dougie is fine with other dogs, not cats and he is in foster with 2 other dog his size. Hes not a fussy dog, he doesnt demand luxuries etc. Just love and quiet. If you want a calm doggy to be your friend, message us. Dougie needs a new family.

We dont know how to start this post or what to say cause we are upset with some issues. Bad breeding, not neutering, breeds that in our opinion shouldnt exist. Things that unfortunately cause suffering. Innocent creatures suffering cause of someone elses complex. Lets just explain though to be easier to understand us.
A few days ago we did a small photo shooting with the abandoned kokoni/frenchie pups we got 2 weeks ago. We needed to post how they are doing plus take each one of them photos to post for adoption. The photo shooting went fine, we took some lovely photos but we also saw some things that made us worried. The pup in the photos is one of the 2 boys and hes the one that made us believe that one of the parents is a frenchie. Other than the nose that thank god is not snubnose, hes got the colours, the big round eyes, the round forehead. At the end of the photo shoot, we checked the photos to chose the good ones and then we saw it. It was shocking and you can see it yourself. If you zoom in the photos, what do you notice thats not normal? Cause looking at them after we finished with photographing the pups, we got terrified. We saw his eyes, his frenchie eyes. It was like seeing Fredas eyes again, the blind frenchie we rehomed a couple of years ago. Both eyes and especially the right one, have strabismus. If you zoom a bit more, you will see the left eye has a deformed pupil of eye. Hes not seeing clearly which we can not see from his behaviour cause of his age. The vet appointment was closed immediately to the eye specialist and today we took Santo, thats what we called him, to the vet.
Results of the eye tests in both eyes show in simple words, that hes blind on left eye and this is probably by birth. The right eye responds to colour indicators and sees but we dont know if he fully sees or partially. Both eyes have strabismus with the right one being more squint than the other. And this is genetic factor from his frenchie side. So he is partially blind now and will stay partially or he may be fully blind in the future cause some humans wanted to play gods with breeding. Hes 5 weeks old dam it!!!
We dont know what else to say. Santo will need regularly eye check ups till he grows up and his eye sight is finalized. Accordingly then we will need to see what needs to be done. For surely he needs a long term foster home while his vision/eyes clears out. We dont think that anyone locally or abroad will adopt him knowing that hes got medical issues which mean a lot of money. His eye issues will need to be solved firstly.
Now, would anyone in Cyprus foster him? And this means for 3-6 months till his eyes get their final form and the eye specialist can test them and know whats happening? All medical expenses will be covered by us of course. He needs a safe place to stay without having to change places all the time which will stress him. The shelter is not a place for him. If anyone can help, please message us. We dont need any money for him now, it was just a test so we dont need any financial help. In the future if there will be an operation or anything else then we may need help. For now we are covered, we only need a foster home for him.

Hes so proud of himself and why shouldn't he be? Hes such a stunning boy, such a gorgeous dog. If only he could find a home and not wait so long for a family. Cause hes really waiting long for someone to choose him.
We posted Jacks 3? 4? times since hes in foster care in Uk. His posts go viral cause hes really an impressive dog. Dozens of comments, hundreds of shares but thats it. When it comes to applying, very few persons apply and this not just with Jacks. Yes comments and shares help with a post, more people will see it but we noticed this happening with many of our dogs we posted. Huge response but few applications and we dont know why each time. Maybe with Jacks its his large size? maybe people believe he wont be easy even though hes got a lovely character. We say that hes large size in each post but people dont know how large he is. So this time we post him playing with other dogs and humans next to him so his size would be more obvious. Hes tall and large size but not huge. If you 're used to large dogs, he would seem very normal to you. If you 're used to small breeds, then Jacks would look huge to you.
Jacks is an adult dog, hes a segugio/shepherd dog around 5 years old. His siblings are all living in Uk by the way and were adopted years ago. Jacks is the only one remaining and to help him get adopted, we even sponsored part of his ticket. Hes playful, sociable, amazing with other humans and fine with other dogs, he lives with 6 others in his foster home. Due to being large size though, we believe its best if hes adopted as an only dog or with a large female girl to be his playmate. Large size comes with clumsiness and not understanding that he can knock someone down easily while playing. Not birds, hes got prey drive and a very good nose. One of his brothers is trained on man trailing. Jacks also loves humans but we prefer him to be adopted in a family with children over 10 years old cause he gets very clumsy as we said above.
If he doesn't find a home soon for him, we 're thinking of taking him back to Cyprus. We cant inflict him on anyone and we cant have him in foster care forever. Its unfair for all but we dont want to force his foster family having him for years. Its not fair on them. Please give him a chance. Jacks is in Worcester and if you 're close you can go visit him. Please help cause we don't want to take him bacK.

Spaniel/pointer/husky crosses, what can go wrong?!?!? 🙂🤣🤣
Remember the husky mom found with her pups next to an area burned in the recent fire we had in the island? A lovely lady offered to foster her with the pups for a month to give us time. We still dont have space and by the looks of it we will never have. But we need to find them a place and soon.
Looking then at the pups, we saw spaniel look and we werent wrong. The stray mom mate with stray hounds and we have the craziest and most cheerful pups you will ever meet. Every pup is playful and active but these ones will have that extra bit. They also have the extra kindness and selfless need to give love. They are adorable bless them and who ever adopts one of them, will have an super amazing furry friend.
For now we will need foster homes for the pups as they are 1,5 months old and need to be separated from their mom. She needs to gain lots of weight bless her cause 7 pups still breast feeding isnt the easiest. If anyone in Cyprus can help with fostering, please message us. We cover of course all the medical expenses of the pups.

She may not be photogenic but trust us her heart is worth gold. Dalia is one of the terrier crosses we send in foster care to Uk before summer. We send the whole family in foster care then. Tasha, Marino, Dalia flew to Uk and Lulu stayed in Cyprus since she was then pregnant and flew in August. All of them except Dalia are adopted a few days after they flew cause they are exactly the sweetest, the kindest, the most gentle and sociable dogs. The only unlucky is Dalia cause shes not the best in posing. As you can see shes got an underbite which many people dont like. Even though shes around 6 kilos, shes very easy going and shes perfect for any home, shes not so photogenic which doesn't help her in photos.
Dalia and family are peki/kokoni/jr/poodle crosses. Tasha the mom is a gorgeous peki/jr cross. Dalias, Marino and Lulus father is a poodle/kokoni so the pups have characteristics of all breeds. They have the best of all breeds and its what made them such amazing characters. Dalia is lead trained, toilet trained, good with other dogs, cats, ducks and another animal her foster parents have which we dont remember now.
If you want a small furry friend, shes the best. Our sweetheart lives in Leeds and if you are close you can visit her. We do homechecks and theres an adoption fee you need to pay. Our application form can be found in our website or message us to send you one.

Hes a cutie isnt he? Meet Monty, one of our lurcher pups. We have 7 of them. After getting parvo, we lost 3 of the pups. It wasnt much we could do with parvo, just pray.
We have 4 boys who are Merlin, Monty, Magnus, Wysocki. And 3 beautiful girls, Matilda, Martha and Melody. They all have their moms greyhound body and to be fair, 3-4 of the pups look purebreedblike their mom. Maybe one of the fathers was a greyhound as well and the others just hounds. You never know. The pups are now 3 months old and are tallish pups. They have their moms placid and gentle character.
Monty is the only pup with the white and bridle patches. Hes one of the biggest pups as a boy and one of the most active. The pups are very sociable and playful. They love everything so far and they just want to run up and down. They love to pester the bigger dogs we have, so the others will give them attention and play with them. They have very loving and quiet characters.
We would love to see these babies in foster of forever homes. Growing up in a cage is the worst thing for a pup. 😔 If you cant foster or adopt, you can also sponsor. Every month we need around €30 for dry food and defleas for each pup. The pups can be send abroad if a home in another country is found. Where ever they will have a family to love them, its fine with us.

We are kinda desperate with this little lady. Barney is one of the doggies we got recently from a home and unfortunately shes not well socialised. She escaped the enclosure she was in and she roams around the farm. Shes fine, no worries on that. The weather is changing though at night and shes about to get kennel cough soon if we dont put her somewhere thats worm for the night. If she roams free, how are we gonna give her any meds? Since she knows how to climb and jump over, she will do it escape again cause the enclosures for small dogs have low fencings. Shes too small to put her with the large dogs who have tall fencing.
Would anyone help with fostering her? We can manage and catch her. It wont be easy but we will. She would need to go in a safe home with people to devote her more time than us. She needs help and if she gets sick, things will be really bad for her. If you are in Cyprus and can help, please message us.
