That is when my relationship with dogs changed forever. He is the reason I found my true passion of training dogs. At KANE9, we follow a relationship-based training technique designed to give dog owners the tools they need to create a balanced and gratifying relationship with their canine family members. We are on this journey together, let's get started!

Mark this a mindful habit for yourself, and trust me, your dog will settle in SO much quicker each time. Before you know it, you’ll be able to go get them out right away without any unnecessary theatrics! 🖤

Affection isn’t just the cuddles, the ear rubs, or the b***y scratches (though obviously those stay 🫶🏼).

It’s structure.
It’s follow-through.
It’s helping your dog feel safe, seen, and understood — not just loved. ✨

Because to me, this is what real affection looks like.
Guidance, clarity, and calm…mixed with a few good snugs, of course. 😅🖤

The joy in these faces 🥹😭

Let’s start with Scottie (the black dog) — what a journey these three have been on! When I first met them, they were defeated, overwhelmed and on the brink of not keeping this dog (new to them — which I would not have blamed them for!) We got to work together, and progress was happening, a connection was forming and they decide, he is home with them. So, they committed FULLY — our board + train and the support that I provide them is exactly what they all need to keep progressing forward. BUT, Scottie’s growth and success is all because of his people. They SHOW UP and commit, CONSISTENTLY. I’m so proud of them. If will not be perfect back home, but they will continue to grow, together…and that’s what it’s all about ✨

Stella, sweet sweet Stella! She is the best example of an already amazing dog who’s pretty dang perfect, that somehow becomes even more amazing with training! Her mom is so incredible — she first had her new dog, Hank, train with us and wanted to get both dogs on the same page to set the whole household up for success (OWNER GOALS!) I know they will do so amazing back home, and Stella will be the amazing girl she is with more manners and better ways to cope with her anxiety. 🖤

One of my favorite ways to hold the leash — especially with a reactive dog. 👇

That secure two-finger hold gives you control without the death grip. You’ll feel grounded, confident, and way more connected to your dog.

And watch that start into heel — it’s intentional, clear, and calm.
How you begin the walk matters more than most people realize. The tone you set in those first few steps can make or break how the rest of the walk goes. 🖤

Archie is officially a KANE9 grad!!! 👏🏼

While he is an amazing dog and we LOVED working with him, what makes working with him so fulfilling is his incredible owner. ✨

They already had a really amazing relationship before training. There was love, respect and clarity. They just needed some additional support, and that’s where we came in!

Archie will do so well and continue to grow back home because his mama is determined and committed to the work and process — proud of you Tina and Arch! 🖤
