England is set to enjoy a lovely 22°C this Friday — warm, but still comfortable for most dogs to get out and about!

🐶 Is it safe for your dog?
Yes! Around 22°C is generally a safe temperature for walking dogs of all breeds, as long as you take a few simple precautions:

• Short-nosed breeds (like pugs & bulldogs): Stick to shorter walks and avoid midday heat

• Thick-coated breeds Opt for early morning or evening strolls

• High-energy dogs: Keep them hydrated and take breaks in shaded areas

• All dogs: Always check pavement temperature — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

☀️I’ve already move to smaller groups and more shaded walks

Note: The risks increase significantly above 24°C, so 22°C is a transitional temperature requiring moderate caution.
