Greetings from Texas! I'm Cricket, a cute little Xoloitzcuintli. I weigh in at 10 pounds and yes, my floppy tongue just adds to my cuteness and charm. My foster mom says I'm "cheeky" because I know just how to look adorable and get my way. When it's time to go out, or even time for bed, I make my foster mom come to get me. Then I roll over and wag my tail so she has to give me belly rubs. Belly rubs make everything right with the world - and besides my antics make my foster mom laugh. They tell me I'm a little bit older, but you would never know it. I'm very active when I'm outside and have perfected the art of zoomies. If I see my foster mom on the swing, I run toward her really fast and fly through the air just to sit on her lap. I get along great with other dogs and I love people in general. I will also do anything for treats! Ideally I would love to be adopted with my good friend Auggie, but would do just fine on my own as well. If you have room in your heart for a sweet little girl like me, you won't regret it, and I'll do my best to make you laugh.

Howdy folks! Let me introduce myself. My name is Auggie and I'm told I'm one tough lil' Texan. You see I have a crooked left front leg. My foot is frozen inward at the ankle joint. It probably happened when I was born...but I don't remember. It's not very pretty, but it doesn't slow me down one bit. I can run in the yard and chase squirrels with the best of them. I'm doing really well in my foster home and get along with all the other dogs. I'm cautious in new surroundings, but with a gentle coaxing and soft words, I settle in quickly. I'm kind of a lady's man and prefer them over men. My favorite thing to do is sit on the swing with my foster mom. I love to cuddle with her while she sings to me. AHHHH that's just the best! I have very good house manners and will do anything for a treat. Ideally, I would love to be adopted with my good friend Cricket, but I would do just fine on my own as well. If you need the perfect snuggle buddy, look no further than into my gorgeous brown eyes, because I'm your man!

My name is Yanni - not the famous composer - but the smartest, handsomest, most brilliant dog ever! (At least in my opinion). I am a young Xolo with puppy energy to spare. Zoomies are just about my favorite thing, so I would love a yard to show off my skills. I’m working on my manners and can sit, down, wait (even for food), and go into my kennel when told. I also ride nicely in the car. I’m pretty treat motivated and will do just about anything for peanut butter! Yum! I love, love, love to play, but I don’t realize how strong I am, so I would probably not be a good fit for small children, small dogs, or cats. I have a very high prey drive and am guaranteed to keep your yard free of squirrels and other small critters. True of the Xolo breed, I can be willful, so my perfect person would need to be “in charge” so I don’t try to take advantage of – well – everything! I have dry eye and will need daily eye drops, but otherwise I'm super healthy. I’m really looking forward to my forever home and living the perfect life with my perfect person or family.

Please meet Suzy! Suzy is a feisty little senior girl, who has finished treatment for heartworm. She is now ready for adoption. Suzy is about 11 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, she has completed her heartworm treatment. Suzy has developed cataracts and is going blind. We believe she has limited sight. She enjoys a lap and snuggling with other pups. Please let me know what questions you may have about Suzy or apply to adopt if you have the perfect retirement home for Suzy.

Meet Percy! Yes, he is a long haired Xolo, while he isn't hairless and has longer hair than the typical coated Xolo, let me assure you, he has ALL the traits of a Xolo! He is 10 years old and came to us with his sister Audrey, both are looking for their forever home. Percy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, housebroken and unfortunately has been debarked. He is crate trained, but you will need an extra clip as he opens crates to let himself out! Percy is a very smart companion that loves sleeping in bed and will make someone an awesome companion!

Sweet Miss Coya is waiting on her perfect home as well. She's a 1 ½yr old coated PIO. 44lbs. Knows her basic commands and has a high prey drive but is good with dogs and cats. She can be a little outspoken and will require a yard so she can run and burn off some energy.
