Please help out this local rescue, Woof Ave Rescue. They are losing the lease on their facility and must adopt out many cats and dogs! If you cannot adopt, please consider a donation.

8/2/25 update…on losing the roof were currently under…💔

Many have asked about how to help…
The raw deal….
Vacating the building we have occupied for 9.5 years now, was an unexpected turn of events.
We have several animals in rescue, many older animals who have come to us for sanctuary.
Many who have come to us, to be worked with through past trauma.
Many who just needed appropriate care and medications and vetting and are now amazing fur babies just needing loving homes and families.
However the truth of the matter,
We have NOWHERE TO GO!!
These dogs and cats MUST vacate the building by 9/30/2025.
We have been searching for other options but there’s not a lot of options out there, especially any that would be feasible to house animals.
We are trying…please KNOW that. But the reality right now IS THIS….everyone must vacate….theres no magic building that has showed up yet.
All cat adoptions are $25.
Dogs $75
Every animal will still have age appropriate vaccines, almost all of age are spayed/neutered and we will still honor all future spay/neuter appts, any on medication will come with their meds.
Seniors have waived adoption fees.
We have invested so much time, care, blood, sweat, and tears and I will still ensure all go to approved adopters…
Please come by and meet them, ask about them, and take one or two, or three home!!!
Donations are much appreciated as we navigate this…cause WE NOT KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE IS…of woof Ave rescue.

URGENT!!!
Hi, friends! It's been a minute since we've posted to this page and we apologize for that. Our funds have been drying up as well as rescue sources so it has limited what we're able to do to help the county animals.
Fortunately, Atlanta Humane Society has continued to take some of the animals from Lee County AC! We have a transport coming up for Tues March 11 that needs to arrive in Atlanta at 11 am Central time. One adult dog (44 lbs), 4 puppies, 1 small dog and 6 cats are scheduled to go.
WE NEED A DRIVER!!!! We have one lined up but we need a 2nd driver. If you don't have a big car, we can probably fit the cat crates and the small adult dog and the other driver could take the adult and puppies.
Please comment here or message the page if you can help. Percy is counting on YOU to make his dream of going to rescue come true!!!

We have been fairly quiet lately, but we are still here and trying to help the pets of Lee County! We may not be as active as we have been in years past, but our small group of 3 volunteers is still working to do what we can, when we can. This morning, we were able to place 8 cats, 1 adult dog, and 6 puppies from our local animal control. While these transports are few and far between (usually once a month, or once every other month), they still require resources. We haven't fundraised in a long, long time...but we really could use some help with our current bills.

We most recently paid over $600 for insurance, renewed our PO box, and have all the while been paying for these monthly/bimonthly transports which includes rabies vaccines and health certificates. If you are able, we would be so grateful for help covering some of these costs. We are still a 501c3 nonprofit, and while we are not doing quite as much as we have previously, we are still active and still requiring financial assistance to operate.

Enjoy a picture of one of our kitties from this morning, loaded up and ready to head on their adventure toward a better life!

Our PayPal is [email protected], or checks can be sent to PO Box 3536 Auburn AL 36831

This week we were able to help save 14 kitties from Lee County Animal Control, thanks to our rescue partners and to Susan DeAngelo who drove for us! Here are some of the kitties we moved this week (some are pictured twice). If you are able to donate to help us cover the cost of vaccines and health certificates, we would appreciate it! Our PayPal address is [email protected].
