We are proud to announce that our K-9 team members are all first responders from local Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement agencies. We operate NEMO Search and Rescue under the laws of the United States and the state of Missouri. Our unit members go through training and evaluations with their K-9s before they are operational. All members are proficient in land navigation, radio communications, search st

rategy, lost person behavior, incident command system, first aid and wilderness survival. Our goal for is to provide trained assistance to public safety agencies within 100 miles of Kirksville and engaged in operations pertaining to lost or missing persons. In addition we conduct community education programs and strive to inform the public on how to avoid becoming lost and what to do if lost. Our Story

All operational team members have NIMS 100,200,700,800, CERT, First Aid, CPR and other various certifications. They are proficient in land navigation, radio communications, search strategy, lost person behavior, incident command system, first aid and wilderness survival.
