*ASKING FOR HELP - NOT SELLING*

Sharing something a little different this evening. Normally I try and sell my handmade items to raise money for rescues and shelters in need, but if you know me, you likely know that it brings me joy to donate in all ways, humans included!

, my older sibling, has a connection with someone who does community outreach, and I'm going to try and help as much as I can, and part of that means asking for your help as well.

It's getting cold, and sadly, in the GTA, there are far too many unhoused and low-income families and individuals who don't have the means to stay warm. I'm using up as much yarn from my stash as I can to make items to donate, but I'm asking you guys as well - if you can knit, crochet, purge, or purchase winter-wear items to donate it would be so wonderful. Think hats, scarves, mitts, and socks. Items easily packed up and distributed.

Once I see the number of things I'm able to gather, I can figure out a pick-up or drop-off date and location. This is ongoing, so there is no deadline to worry about.

Hey folks! Hope everyone is staying warm during this chilly start to the new year! ❄️

I'm switching things up a bit on the page and instead of posting items for a single campaign, I'll be sharing items that are avaliable any time throughout the year and donating from sales once certain targets are hit. It's been a slow start, but I'm hoping 2025 can bring some much needed funds into the hands of the angels that run these rescues, and we can help as many dogs as possible. 🐾🙏

Hello everyone! It's been a minute, but I'm back to offer a new little something for you. For the remainder of the summer, I'm offering these super handy crochet market bags for only $25! Use them for groceries, the beach, or just on a weekend stroll. Multiple colours are available, just let me know your preference, and I'll see if it can be done.

This campaign is dedicated to a rescue very close to my heart, Underdogs Rescue in Edmonton, AB. Not only is it run by a dear friend, but with the help of her amazing team, this rescue strives to change the narrative around power breed dogs and the reputations they are unfairly given in society. Since Covid, the rescue has suffered greatly with funds. I am hoping this helps even just a little bit.

From their website: "Through education and dedication we want to see people embrace these largely misunderstood dogs without fear or misconception. We want to be part of a society, and community, that encourages responsible pet ownership. We are dedicated to support and encourage legislation without breed profiling."

Underdogs Rescue is a fully volunteer run, not for profit organization. They are committed to the re-homing of these dogs through rescue, rehabilitation, training and care to responsible and loving homes.

We've got sweaters & snoods up for grabs all month! Though we've been having some wonderfully mild days, don't be fooled... Mother Nature always has some chilly days left for March! 🌬🧣

We are continuing the campaign for Unleashed Potential Canine Club, Training, Rescue & Rehab until the end of the month to help bring the bills down from some major medical expenses recently. Every dollar helps!

I'm a little late, but it's the thought that counts! Product and campaign info below 👇

The first item seems fitting, considering this page was created out of love. 💗 The "I Chews You" stuffy is about 10" wide for the heart, stuffed with fiber-fill and crocheted with a tight stitch using acrylic yarn.

This campaign, along with next month as well, is dedicated to helping raise funds for a great friend and cause.

Nataly is a full-time vet tech and owns/operates Unleashed Potential Canine Club, Training, Rescue & Rehab. She is a force to be reckoned with and has a heart of gold. Late last year, she took in Zena, a pregnant dog whose family could not afford to give her medical care. This wasn't Zena's first litter, but thankfully, it was her last. Nataly paid for Zena with her hard earned money, her time, and her heart. She needed a C-section and gave birth to 8 adorable puppies. Though almost immediately, she suffered from infection, mastitis, and calcium deficiency, which meant she needed more medical attention and could not nurse her puppies. Thankfully, Zena is doing well, and her puppies are thriving and finding their forever homes. Nataly has done so much for them, and she deserves some help for those efforts. Welcome to my new passion project, Marley's Mission! 🫶

As most of you know, I lost my best buddy just over a year ago after 15 amazing years together. He inspired me to get involved in all things dog rescue, animal welfare, and breed education/advocacy over the years.

I've been searching for a way to honour his memory, and using my creativity to contribute just feels like a natural way to do that.

My hope is that the items I make and sell here and the ideas I have can help raise funds for various animal rescues and causes each month. I will do my best to keep it fun, engaging, educational, and transparent. Each item will have a set amount of time in the spotlight, as each campaign will last about a month but can be purchased outside of that campaign if time and resources allow. Send me a DM, we'll figure it out!
