Sighthounds Online We raise awareness of hounds in need, and don't rehome dogs ourselves. We also have a good deal of fun, with friendly chat and competitions!

Our Mission statement: To relieve the suffering of unwanted, abused and neglected dogs, in particular sighthounds, by the provision of financial assistance and grants to any such animal rescue organisation and/or individuals as the trustees consider appropriate and by the provision of appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for such animals. To educate and raise public awareness about

the welfare issues pertaining to sighthounds and to make available information and advice by the provision of a website and forums. We want to see an end to greyhound racing, hunting with dogs and irresponsible, excessive and casual breeding.

Very sad to hear of the passing of a great friend of Sighhounds Online, and Kim's Home for Elderly/Abused Dogs, Karen Bush
I’m sure many of you will know of her great books covering all manner of things canine and equine, both practical and fictional- and even esoterical! (I love her Haunting Hounds book)
She was a lovely lady, who made some stunning pieces of whippety art for auctions to raise funds for Kim’s Home, and was always on hand for advice of all sorts, and to demonstrate Tellington Touch techniques which help so much with nervous issues.
She also was, so I learned today, very helpful in getting Caroline Akrill’s works into ebooks.
And of course she had various pages over the years with her very gorgeous whippies, the latest being Dulcie’s Diary.

Rest in peace, Karen, thank you for being you! 💕

ALL SORTED, THANKS

Anyone that I know in the South Wales area able to foster an 11 year old Whippet girl for me, please? Just for 3 weeks until Teasel has gone? Many thanks.
