Luna’s Journey Home 🐾
Delivering Luna to Mr. and Mrs.Henson was one of those moments that reminds you just how beautiful and meaningful this work can be. From the moment I placed her gently into their arms, it was as if she had always belonged there. The joy on their faces was absolutely unforgettable—Mr.Henson eyes welled up with tears, and Mrs.Henson couldn’t stop smiling as she cradled Luna like a newborn.
The connection between them was instant. Luna, normally a bit shy with new people, snuggled right into their laps without hesitation. She wagged her tiny tail, looked up with those big, curious eyes, and gave them both a little lick—as if to say, “I’m home.”
The Henson’s had prepared everything with such care: a cozy little bed, handmade toys, even a welcome sign with Luna’s name on it. It was clear they had been waiting for her not just with open arms, but with open hearts.
These are the moments that make every long drive, every late night, every effort absolutely worth it. Seeing Luna safe, loved, and right where she’s meant to be is the greatest reward of all.
