It's time to get moving! Whilst it's all too tempting to stay snuggled up in the warm, don’t let those chilly winter temperatures keep you glued to the sofa. 🥶

Dogs need plenty of exercise throughout the year and the best way to keep them active in winter is to take them for regular walks. Even a short walk around the block on a cold day makes a big difference. So, begin this year with a pledge — better health for you and your dog. ❤️

Here are some safety tips to help when taking your furry friend on those wintry adventures:

🐾 Wear bright or reflective clothes or accessories
🐾 Stay in well-lit areas
🐾 Protect paws from harsh elements
🐾 Keep your dog hydrated.

We have been alerted to the appearance of the highly toxic Hemlock Water Dropwort on Tyrella beach.

Also known as Dead Man's Fingers, it is poisonous if eaten by dogs and can be fatal if not treated quickly. Dog walkers are urged to be vigilant if walking on local beaches.
