This is a trick I use to keep my pup's knees safe from slipping on hard ice or melting snow at the bottom of the porch steps and hard icy pathways in the backyard...

Lay down as many dry towels as you need to cover the icy walkways (especially when coming off or onto steps / stairs) and let settle in (they will stick to the ice / ground as they warm from the sun in about an hour).

Remember to stay clear of (don't play on) deep snow with hard / ice tops - this environment is also very dangerous for those doggie knees. Xo
