❄️Winter Adoptions Update ❄️
Our record-breaking Autumn saw large numbers of older kittens, both stray and wild, come into our care from across Banks Peninsula. Our fabulous foster team spent many weeks caring for and socializing them, and now our Winter has been full of heartwarming adoptions! ❤️ Seeing some of our long-term and super shy cases finally find forever homes is the best feeling ✨️ Here are some of our little darlings that are flourishing with their new families! Thank you for adopting and saving a life 🙏

🌸 Meet Bessie – Our Tiny Little Treasure 🌸

It's taken us quite a while to get photos of this gorgeous girl because she's such a shy little thing! 💕

Bessie is nearly 4 months old and is still quite tiny, but what she lacks in size she makes up for with her sweet, gentle nature. She's a quiet soul who has spent her time being overshadowed by her big brothers.

Now it's Bessie's turn to shine.

She would love a calm, patient home where she can have the time and space to build her confidence and let her beautiful personality blossom. Once she feels safe, we're sure she'll become a devoted and loving companion.

🐾 Meet Missy, Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Beautiful Missy is searching for a loving forever home where she can truly blossom. 💕

She may seem a little reserved when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience and you'll discover the sweetest, most affectionate girl. Once she trusts you, she's all about cuddles and companionship.

Missy is believed to be deaf, or at least hard of hearing, but she doesn't let that slow her down one bit. She has adapted wonderfully and is a happy, confident cat.

She gets along well with male cats (we're unsure how she is with females) and she's comfortable around small dogs, in fact, she even enjoys trying to play with them!

For Adoption 🌸 Freya 🌸 Another black beauty seeking her forever home. A few months ago, Freya was living rough in the wilds of Wainui. At a year old, she was past the point of being rescued as a kitten, and her fate was to be an endless cycle of having kittens herself and struggling to survive. But everything changed when Freya was rescued by one of our amazing team members! In their expert care she defied the odds and began to trust humans ❤️

Now Freya is looking for a quiet home that can give her the patience and love she needs to flourish ✨️ Once she trusts you she is very friendly and sweet! She would love a warm spot to curl up in and a gentle person to love!

For Adoption 🐾Little Toad 🐾 This hunky little hopper is pretty special- he was trapped on a farm as an older wild kitten, and while most people would have seen a hopeless case, the lovely family that caught him refused to give up! Joining our foster team, their daughter poured countless hours into socializing him and it's really paid off! He now loves to play and has a big purr for his trusted person. He would make a wonderful addition to an experienced family with older children who understand that time and patience are needed to settle shyer kittens in. We know he would absolutely come leaps & bounds with the right family!

Adoption 🌹Olive 🌹 This black beauty is more than ready for her happy-ever-after! If you're looking for a cuddly, curious, climb-under-the-covers on a cold night with you kinda girl, look no further 🖤 Olive was originally a wild kitten rescued near Little River, and has spent the past few weeks absolutely blossoming in foster care! She is now affectionate and confident with her people, and super social with other cats.

This beautiful girl is such a lovely cat. Technically, she's ready to find her forever home, but we're looking for a very special family for her.

She needs someone who understands that trust takes time. A quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and feel safe will allow her confidence to blossom. Once she knows she's loved, we're sure she'll make a wonderful companion.
