We are safe as are all of our Family, Friends and Clients at this time. If anyone needs any help with evacuating animals or if you need a place to stay and are part of the Pack we have room at this time for both two and four legged’s at our home and are here to help in any way we can. If you are not a Pack Member and need help we are happy to connect you with local resources as well as help you in any way we can depending on space available and situation at the time. Our hearts are heavy today for our commUNITY members who are going through such an unpredictable and scary time. Please be safe 🐾❤️🐾💗🐾❤️🐾

Please join us in officially welcoming Mr Iggy Pop to the Pack❤️🐾❤️ We haven’t posted in awhile due to the craziness of Covid-19, the Mandatory Shelter in Place, only essential workers being allowed to work and this whole nightmare of a process I know you all understand. The Owner of Pawsitive K9’s has elderly parents that she helps care for so as all the information kept coming in (and sometimes changing daily) during this time it has been a struggle to make the best decisions for how to proceed with our primary focus being safety for all. We love our Clients as Family and their safety as well as their extended Families safety have given us great concern as well during this difficult time. Now that the Shelter in Place Order has been lifted, we are slowly starting to get our new procedures and routines introduced to our new Clients for everyone’s safety. We also wanted to mention that we know some of our OG Clients had no choice but to cut back on expenses when this nightmare hit and we completely understand. We want you to know that you will ALWAYS have a place with us when it works best you you💗 This pandemic has caused such struggle, stress, discomfort and concern. So many lost their jobs, some are struggling to keep their homes and even feed their families. 💔 I wanted to post a pic of Mr Iggy Pop (yes that is his real name) in hopes of brightening some spirits today 🌞. Iggy started working with us before the pandemic hit for some basic puppy training but more importantly leash work, respecting boundaries, not jumping on people, learning how to self soothe, listening to and respecting his Pack Leaders especially when he doesn’t want to do what is being asked of him. He does throw a good temper tantrum. It’s pretty easy to see why he’s got away with so much up until this point right? I mean just look at this face😍 I’m happy to say Mr Iggy Pop has been making great progress in his training. He’s a very smart Carin Terrier and is the second Carin this family has had. Welcome Iggy Pop!! We are so excited to see what a Pawsitive K9 you will turn into ❤️

We’ve been thinking of our beautiful blue boy all day today knowing he was going under the knife and are so very happy to report that our favorite ginormous velvet hippo did great and is awake after a long stressful day of multiple surgeries. It’s always risky for any dog to go under, but even more so for a dog his size. It will be a full time job to keep him calm and comfortable so that he can heal properly. He is still a puppy after all, but once recovery is complete we will be able to see both of Mr Arlo’s beautiful green eyes and he will no longer have those giant balls! He also had his stomached tacked as this breed is prone to bloat and it can be deadly. If you’re going under you might as well get it all done at once and even though it will be a longer recovery, hopefully we won’t have to worry about him going under anesthesia for a long time to come. Here’s to a speedy recovery Mr Arlo! We love you and will see you soon beautiful boy❤️ @ Santa Cruz, California

No filter needed here. Just a gorgeous hike on a beautiful day in the forest with this handsome fellow😍 Believe it or not this giant boy is still very much a puppy. Introducing Bodhi and Brewster🐾❤️🐾 Please welcome these two handsome devils to the Pack!! Their family has a true love for the Australian Cattle Dog Breed and we love high drive, intelligent working breeds! Whether they are working on the ranch, walking in the City, hiking in the mountains or going to the beach these two adorable guys turn heads everywhere they go and are as smart as a whip with lots of energy to burn! It’s been REALLY hard to keep these ADORABULL pics a secret🐾🤐 🐾❤️🐾, but some of our Pack Parents are starting to share that they have opened their gifts from our undisclosed Santa Photo Shoots which means we can start sharing them too!!! 🤗 This was a great training exercise for our Pack Members! We did have one Pack Parent ask if it was photo shopped because they were in disbelief that their dog would sit still and pose with a Santa hat on 😂 They are definitely NOT photo shopped😍

Happy Throw Back Thursday to our Original “Mini Committee” 🐾😍🐾MANY moons ago (when Kendra was still in College and way before before was even a concept) there was “Kendra’s Kritter Care” and these adorabull K9’s were our first official Pack Members 💓Big or small we love them all! 🐾🐾🐾🐶💋🐾❤️🐾💕🐾💙🐾🐾🐾

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their Packs! 🦃It’s been a stormy week in Santa Cruz and time for us to break out the waterproof gear for both our 2 and 4 legged Krewe 💕 “Tis The Season” for colder and wetter days ahead🌨 (brrrrr). There is more rain and wind in the forecast for this weekend and next week as well so we are enjoying the sun while it lasts!🌞 Don’t these guys looks ADORABULL in their raincoats?😍 Mr Arlo (the Great Dane) is still growing and will definitely need a larger size soon 😉 We hike rain or shine unless there are thunderstorms and lightening predicted as we always practice safety first 🐾💪⚡️☂️⛈ We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
