I would like to thank the Platte Valley Hunting Retriever Club board of directors and members for putting on a great hunt test two weeks ago in Platteville. I would like to especially thank Jane Evans Cornelius and her family for hosting the social, Alan Goff for being our bird steward, Brie Armstrong and Tiffany Goff for feeding all the judges and helpers each day. Also, Larry Suedmeier for hauling the trailer to and from the test. Lee Ann and David Heldt, thank you for handling the secretary duties and checking everyone in the morning and at the social. Rudy Krupa, thank you for being their early at the trailer each morning and late on Sunday and all your help recruiting the marshals. Thank you marshals. Oh and the judges...great tests, thank you all too! Mike Desque, you did an amazing job, grooming the test grounds. Mike Keuteman, thank you for handling the raffle. Finally, I want to thank all of the members for helping setting up the tests and hauling the equipment to and from each test and back to the trailer. Thank you everyone! We have a great club made up of great people. I hope you enjoy your hunting seasons and look forward to next year.
