Bluebonnet's Galeno's dam (mother) was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society. Galeno's start in life was rough.
She was emaciated and wild, and one morning her foster home walked out to find her nursing a foal. Galeno's start in life was rough, but he had great care from there on out. He was adopted in September 2013 by Bluebonnet's President Jennifer Williams to become her show horse and and a mascot for Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society.
