I have just started a new stall at the Lions Market in Tawa on sat mornings. I am selling Weta Motels, Licorice garden ornaments, Earrings, Glass trays, Toilet paper or Handee towel holders, floating Bumble Bees and Lady Bugs, Windowsil Egg holders and other stuff. Come and say giddy!

Welcome to my page, I'm not a regular Facebook user so this has been a mission to create.

I started WETA Motels H.Q. after getting carried away making Weta Motels for friends, family and myself. My hobby has now turned into a healthy passion!

I have been making Motels for over 20yrs with many varied creations, many successful, and many flops!

I have 3 main purposes for making Weta Motels:
- I simply love Wetas
- I want others, especially children, to enjoy them safely as well.
- I hate excessive commercial waste.

I want to put building materials (mainly pallets) to use rather than send to the landfill. I love using storm damaged trees, rather than seeing it used for firewood.

I have them for sale and can make to a specific request. Pallet motels (usually have 3 nesting areas) are $30, and larger ones are $40. Tree stump motels are $50 as they are more difficult to create. Please refer to the photos for examples.
