THREE YEARS OLD! It’s hard to believe that our Golden Hearts litter of 9 girls, and 1 boy, are already 3 years old. All are living wonderful lives with families who cherish them unconditionally. These are blessed pups for sure! We are so grateful for the friendships we’ve developed with our families who share photos of their Golden Heart pup living a best life!!! Happy birthday puppies, we love you 😘

You just NEVER know. How many times have we been told this? When Maggie’s working at the hospital, I try to remind myself to be open to moments when someone truly needs her. Yesterday was one of those days.

As we approached the children’s unit where Maggie works, a food service worker was leaving. She was both pushing and pulling carts. When she looked down and saw Maggie, she said “May I see her?”. She began to pet her, then began to hug Maggie. When she stood I could see that the worker was crying. She expressed how much she needed Maggie today. Even though Maggie and I were due (maybe a bit late) in the children’s unit, I told her to take all the time she’d like with Maggie. She knelt back down, hugged Maggie again, and cried. She then stood and continued on with the two food carts.

Maggie continued into the psychiatry unit, where she worked with more children than she has since prior to the pandemic.

If you’ve ever had an inkling that therapy work would be rewarding. Let me reassure you that it truly is. Please follow your heart, and assist your dog in serving others. Feel free to reach out to me, I’m happy to help you on your journey ❤️
