There’s a misconception that if you don’t religiously run or exercise an Australian Shepherd they’ll be destructive, misbehaved and unsatisfied. I find this to be an ignorant concept. Aussies easily adjust to the lifestyle you provide them. They need rules, boundaries discipline and guidelines for the expectations of a human ran society. No doubt they’re stellar athletes who can meet incredible physical feats, but they don’t have to be ran like a mindless robots in order to be balanced and well mannered. I find them to be one of the most adaptable breeds. Please don’t think this what they need in order to be most happy. They’re well suited to active people, but what they really need is dedicated people.

Our slice of heaven

We are a small farm with a love for animals. Our Aussies are raised in our home and run the pasture. They swim in our tank and are exposed to cats, cows and horses. Their favorite comman is RUN. And off they go. Gus is our gentle giant. He is so loving and affectionate. Skye is our active girl. Loves to run and work the cattle. We hope she can enter dock diving in the future. Bailey is our curly girl. She is also very affectionate and just a pleasure to be around. Saavy is a mix of mischief and wiggles. She likes to carry her toys with her constantly. We find her toys everywhere.
