Well, our boy Lance is finally old enough to get serious about riding! Here is his first day with Marty. Lance is 18.2 hands and Mart is 6'7" tall. A match made in heaven. We've had to order up a few custom made bits of tack....like a 52" girth, a very long rear girth, and some long straps for his breast collar.

A new study at the University of Sydney has found that cows tell their feelings through moos. Cows have individual vocal identifiers and change pitch to match their emotions. Cows respond to both positive and negative emotions with their own "voice."

Update: Gareth has been adopted and now has his own beautiful person.

This is Garreth. He picks up his feet, bathes, grooms, halters and leads. He understands "come to", " over", "back" and "load up". He'd love to have a person of his own to love and do stuff with. He is steered. He is six months old.
