All For Love Animal Rescue (AFLAR), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-volunteer animal rescue group, dedicated to saving abandoned animals from shelters in Southern California. We are an all-breed rescue, but focus on dogs in the most need, primarily Pit Bulls, followed by seniors, Chihuahuas, pregnant dogs and those needing medical care or surgery. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes throu

gh adoption events, networking, and community outreach. We advocate for animal welfare, affordable spay and neuter programs, and ending backyard breeding. Through education, we strive to restore the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier, as the loving family dog it truly is. We depend 100% on charitable donations to rescue, board, vet, train, and provide medical care, for all of our dogs. 🩷 PLEASE HELP BROOKLYN 🩷
This little girl needs a loving home!

We didn’t have an open foster home, but in order to just save Brooklyn’s life when she was going to be euthanized at a high kill shelter, we rescued her and she is temporary boarding. Even with our volunteers’ love and care, she is stressed in boarding, and she is a different dog when she goes out on an outing! Thank you to Nick and Tara for weekend fostering Brooklyn, and Sarah for taking her on outings! She is waiting for her own HOME!!!

BROOKLYN, or Brooky, as we like to call her, is a sweet and spicy 45 lb little sausage girl. She is about 2-3 years old, and full of character and fun. She is a beautiful, playful brindle girl who loves tug and playing with her toys.

She loves her people too and has been so happy to meet all our rescue volunteers and play with them.
Brooky loves her walks, and is so cute bouncing down the road with a little sashay, her b***y wiggle, her tail wagging and her ears bopping up and down! She’s so confident and happy, she just makes you smile!

Brooky takes treats gently and knows what she wants, but listens to her handler and is polite.
She would love a home where she has a family that likes to go on walks and adventures as she loves exploring the world! She may be okay with another calm, polite dog in the home.

🧡🧡🧡 DAKOTA🧡🧡🧡A VERY GENTLE DOG LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER PERSON!

Someone who will see his beautiful soul underneath his quiet shyness.
Someone who is patient and kind.
Someone who will let this gentle, calm dog be exactly who he is and adore him for it. But who will also show him the way to be all he can be.

Dakota is the one at the back of the room who waits quietly for someone to see how special he is. Brave in a scary world, big hearted and kind to all other dogs and humans.

Dakota was fostered on a ranch with other rescue dogs and shared kisses with the wolves through the fence. He kept the puppies company and was friends with every dog in the pack.
With people he stands back a little at first, but he is a brave boy and given a minute he likes to wag his tail and say hello. Each new experience in the world is a delight that he takes in quietly, as he slowly builds confidence.

He is very easy and good on leash and would love a family who will patiently show him the world. He loves his walks particularly with his doggie friends
He would love to live with other dogs because he is a dogs dog!
1 year old Dakota is ready for his special person.
He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

MAUI is a 5 month old precious puppy.
Maui is a sweet and gentle guy. He is curious about the world and interested in exploring it. He is a very brave and confidant little man.
Maui is super smart and loves to snuggle.

He has met other dogs outside of his siblings and was calm and well behaved.
He will fit well in a family with other dogs and children who are active and like to take their dogs places. He would love to go on adventures with his family!

Maui is healthy and UTD with his shots.

THE AFLAR YARD SALE TODAY WAS A RESOUNDING SUCCESS!!!🎊🎉🎊
Thanks to the amazing efforts of so many people!🙏🙏🙏

We had a lot of really great items to sell and people came and bought them!!
We had incredibly delicious baked goods which were a big hit. Even towards the end kids from the neighborhood were making return trips to by brownies and cookies and cups of Lupe’s homemade lemonade.
Thank you so much to the donors and bakers!

Worked really, really hard to set this up, staff it all day and clean it up. They are all home now with ice on their backs, feet up and a stiff cup of iced tea to take the edge off!
What an amazing crew plus you guys were all such fun!!! You know how to have a good time plus make some big bucks for needy paws.

💝 NANI IS FAMOUS AROUND TOWN FOR BEING A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY💖
But she still has not found her forever home!
She is a precious, special girl.
Yes she is 8 years old and yes she needs to be the only princess. But she is a huge lover and a great and entertaining character.
We just need to find her special someone!

Nani lights up with joy when she gets visitors—especially her favorite volunteers! She gets so excited that she runs straight to her harness, ready for adventure.

This sweet girl is currently looking for her forever home. Nani would do best as the only pet, but she more than makes up for it with her endless love and affection. She thrives on being with her person and enjoys outings to places like Green Thumb and her favorite spot—Lowe’s in Oxnard—where she’s a familiar and beloved face.

If you spot Nani out and about at Lowe’s in Oxnard or Ventura, Green Thumb in Ventura, The Container Store, or strolling through The Collection in Oxnard, be sure to stop and say hello!

NUTMEG’S FREEDOM WALK!!!😍
Nutmeg’s fans celebrate he is safe!

From his VCAS shelter advocate, Mellissa~
“Nutty took his freedom walk yesterday after two years at the shelter and being euth listed. Instead of going to the vets office at 11:00 am, at about 3:00 pm, his favorite treat dispenser Kevin and I walked him out. He met the patron saint of animals (Maripat Davis) and then went to visit his favorite auntie, Lisa at Petco before going to his home for the next month.
We do need about $700 more to pay his training tuition, but the most important thing is that this sweet creature is safe and out of VCAS for good.”

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED!🙏❤️🙏
Our dogs in boarding need walkers every day to keep them healthy and happy while they wait for forever homes.
We are currently really short on volunteers to walk and play with them.

We need people who have some big dog handling experience and who can commit to at least one day a week. The love you give will be returned by happy dogs exponentially.😍🥰

We currently have Brooklyn and Baloo who need your love.
We cannot take in more dogs without volunteers to help us care for them.

To volunteer please fill out an application and our volunteer coordinator, Mandy, will give you a call to set up an orientation.

We will be happy to welcome you into the AFLAR village. Where doggy kisses abound!🥰
